How did your team implement the focus (and optionally, the theme)?
The game incorporates the "Racing" theme through its storyline, which revolves around a desperate global race among the remaining nations to develop the ultimate human gene, ensuring humanity's survival in an apocalyptic world. This theme is further emphasized by the time limit, creating a race against the clock. Meanwhile, the "Escape" theme is integrated into the gameplay's platformer mechanics, where players must escape each room to advance to the next stage.

This got some cool lore to it and it's tightly coupled with the actual gameplay! The adaptable difficulty is very nicely implemented without making the game TOO easy. I didn't quite figure out the last pipe puzzle, but that also put me on to the fact that it actually SKIPS if you fail too much. A clever mechanic especially for gamejams (i've soon played around 50 entries so it does speed up my testing a little hehe). The sprite also evolving over time is a nice touch, too. Short, but fun and creative. Great work, and good luck with the jam.

Nice platformer, neat graphics and controls.

The visuals are great, and I really like how the game got easier if you fail a level.

Loved the effects, it made it super atmospheric. Jumping was pretty nice too. Good game.

Feels like it belong on Nitrome! Good little mini game

Nice little game! Like the shader, although it could be a bit less intense, some words were hard to decipher.

I really like the idea of repeating the same level over and over with little changes each time, but it felt a bit unfair without any visual cues to differentiate the blocks

Oh that is very difficult game and kinda mean, but I really liked how you put all the pieces togather: shader, quirkyblocks and amazing soundtrack. Feels like a complete product that I would buy.

Okay, now this is cool! I love the graphics and sound effects. It’s a little hard to see through the shader, but it’s really impressive. I thought shaders didn’t work for web builds haha
