Very cool use of shapes and graphical effects, I love the music picker - very nice touch, controls feels also good. Finished the game in ~10 min, at the last round I figured out that I can sneak behind the boos and chill till the end of the track ))))

I’m you liked it! Thank you for the kind words and thank you for playing the game :)

The finale is a little bit rushed as you can probably tell lol

Love the use of shapes (I like using shapes too haha).  The effects look really good.  Some of the levels can seem a little basic but kept me interested.  overall solid entry

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and thank you for playing!

Unfortunately the game wouldn’t load for me. I don’t have windows so I tried loading it up in Parallels where I was able to play some other windows only games, but this one seemed to load for a bit then close.

I’ll refrain from rating since I can’t get a look into the game itself and it’s not your fault I don’t have a windows computer to try it on. The screenshots look pretty cool though! Reminds me of an web game I used to play with a similar aesthetic.

Developer

Strange. I’m guessing you’re on Mac? You could try something that runs Linux apps on Mac, as Linux and Mac are both Unix based/adjacent or whatever is the right term. Thank you for checking it out tho!

I try to play your game but It did not work on my computer (I got only a new music each time and a black screen). It's perhaps due to my old GPU...

I suggest you to make a web export the next time, everyone can run it and it also provides more ratings (it's quick to run)

Developer

Yeah, godot doesn’t really love old gpus haha. As for the web build, it was my original intention, but the graphics wouln’t work the way I wanted them to. It was only around the end that I added an option to disable the tings the web engine didn’t support. I will definitely make a web build for the first update of my game.

I would make a web build and add it to my game’s github, but that’s probably against the rules, so I can only wait.

Thank you for informing me about this! Have a nice day

This is super cool! Having settings and a tutorial built in to a game jam game is already very impressive. The final fight is very fun and challenging and I would love to see more levels to this! I bet this would also work great as a mobile game I could play in class lol. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you lots! The final fight should’ve been so much more haha, but I had less than an hour to make it and bugs kept popping up.

I’m glad you enjoyed it and had fun, thanks for playing!

controls are very smooth, most tracks are not too interesting unfortunately. still pretty good fairly polished game. nice  job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I’m not the best with level design in general, let alone racing track designs. I originally intended to have a bunch more levels that would get harder and more interesting over time, but a time crunch and some real life obligations got the better of me.

Thank you for playing!

Very fun game, thoroughly enjoyed playing this for a while to get better times.  Naming convention of the levels threw me off a bit, and there were two EXEs in the download. Besides this, highly fun game, you did great with this.

If you continued development, I'd love to see a level builder and/or a chaotic online or local multiplayer game mode

Developer(+1)

Aw shucks! I forgot to rename the levels hahaha. I will have to fix this in the first update. I’m glad you enjoyed your time playing my game :)

Super fun levels kept playing to get my times lower loved the music too. I had one issue with the second to last level having a key needed and I went back and got the key on the level before again and still couldn't unlock it.

…Interesting, I’m not sure what’s happening there, maybe I forgot to make the unlock work because I didn’t have the time to test it. I’ll fix this in the first update.

Thank you for playing!
