The movement is actually really interesting. As others have stated, it feels rough and unfinished, but I feel like the movement system could be a strong foundation for a fun game.

Developer

Thank you! Sorry for the rough state - I'll do some polishing after the voting is done

This is a really cool and creative concept! I loved the walking sound, and the mechanic for movement is really great. It did just feel way too easy. I would run up the wall and I won every time within seconds. Some more challenge would make it a bit more interesting.

Thanks! I'm happy with the walking sound too - I made it by tapping two pens together.  But yes, the wall climbing needs to be fixed for sure

I can see what you were going for with this one, even if it's a bit rough. Bonus points for being creative! Sounds are fitting and makes up for not having any music. If you end up developing it further i'd be open to playtest it.

Thank you! I'll ping you with another reply when I update the game

Cool  game, but it had a lot of bugs.

The path finding on the spider was really impressive, the game was difficult to grasp at first but once you understand it it becomes really easy, I think adding some floating platforms or areas you can't climb on could really raise the skill ceiling. Really technically impressive game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, the pathfinding took way longer than I expected to figure out jumping paths.  Floating platforms could be neat, I'll see how that works when I get around to updating it

I didn't get it at first, because you can just walk on the wall and win, but if you don't cheat its kinda fun although of course the game is very short.

I was impressed by the tech of the spider, I hope you try to take it farther, good luck and good job!

Developer

Yeah, the wall climbing is a problem :D originally I was going to have to AI detect this and target you if you try to climb up the sides, but ran out of time to get that working

Submitted

This is a neat and fun idea! I like it, but there is an exploit where you can just walk up the walls to the end.

Keep making games, this is cool!

Developer

Thanks!  Totally agree about the wall climbing... I'll figure out a way to prevent this when I update
