Did you credit all assets in-game (including your own) as required by the rules?
Not in-game but on the game page
How did your team implement the focus (and optionally, the theme)?
There is a timer that you have to race against at certain points. I kind of squished the theme together with the focus, because the tow together made me think of the saying, "escape the rat race," which made me think companies and corporations.

Will you continue work on the game after the jam?

Loved the eyes and mouths in the walls and the way the blocks reacted to being smacked with a tentacle. Some of the art felt a little out of place in the later levels though. Pretty fun game! Love the idea!
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. The art might have looked off in later levels due to an error that I didn't catch until I looked at the project again today.
Original game. A bit tedious sometimes. The atmosphere is great, I think you could have played with more organic shapes instead of angular ones. Destructible props could be satisfying too.
It's good to have some different experience. Congratulation.
Thanks! I knew some of the levels were kind of tedious, but I ran out of time.
I could definitely see more organic shapes working well. I hadn't thought of destructible props, but I really like that idea.
Very cool concept, I only got to level 4 but I really like it, very cool.
The puzzles are okay but what really stands out is how damn cool the tentacle is. Seeing it unroll itself is mezmerising, and allowing the player to move any part of it allows for some really strange but awesome strategies. Some levels felt a little tedious, but overall i found it fun and a great proof-of-concept. What would be more lovecraftian than the horrors of manual labor?? Good luck with the jam, and great work.
Thank you! Most of my time was spent making the tentacle work in a way that felt and looked decent, while also not being buggy or destroying the frame rate, so level design ended up being pretty rushed.
Interesting game. Good job!
Fun sploinky mechanic, loved the lil facial expressions on the box, a nice detail. The music is funky too, well done!
this is one of the weirdest way to control a game i had, frustating at a lot of points cuz the tentacle doesnt follow the mouse with the same speed, so i felt it really slow the control, but very interesting gameplay
I liked the tentacle mechanic and the way it interacted with its environment. Someone already hinted about making the tutorial a bit shorter but asides that one bit I liked it.
Cool game! The tentacle looked really cool. One small thing is I wish there wasn't so much text at the start. It'd be nice if it was shorter or you could skip it. As far as actual gameplay though I thought it was great!
