I really liked how everything felt in terms of the shooting gallery mechanics, and the animations gave this a lot of life. I especially loved the effect when you shot the gun. My only real critique is that it felt like the theme only really went into the aesthetics although the aesthetics were definitely on point. Overall, this was a really fun one to mess around with and I'd definitely put some time into a more complete version of this if you did continue with the project!

Melodic Mayhem? More like Melodic John Wick lol
Very interesting use of the Theme, Loved the little details like the dual grab on the gun and the bending of the particle that comes out of the gun towards the notes. Awesome game and definetly one of the more complete ones!
Thanks for the great feedback already!
The gun is a clarinet, so that’s kind of the instrument haha. But the notes making a sound on being shot and syncing with the music is a great idea!
And I think I can patch reloading and dual weapons in fairly easy, but I’ll wait with updates till the rating period is over.
Would be cool if you could post your Highscores on the itch page as well!
Nice! I liked this one, the springy hand joint was cool, same as the gun, the line ray was a nice touch too! Dual weapon options and reloading would have been nice, but something for future eh 😁
I really liked the music staff as bullet trail, and the room was pleasantly presented... Pistol Whip and Audica are the models for musical shooters, so some of those aspects could have been incorporated to either make this more melodic, rhythmic, or both. For a game so heavily steeped in musical props, decor and interactables, I'm surprised that the musical notes, when shot, did not play a tone, and so, there was no musical instrument to be had here. Any tune would have sufficed, so the player had a sense of contribution to the moment beyond target practice.
It's a fun little shooter, though! Gorgeous lighting and style!
