  • Took a bit to get used to the movement! But, this is amazing and a wonderful effort. Easily one of the best games in the jam.

Very cool! Multiple rooms and a boss! I really enjoyed it

This was really cool, the atmosphere felt really nice with everything combined. The movement mechanic was interesting, took a minute to get used to but I liked it. I got to the room where the one enemy gets shot/falls in the beginning but couldn't get the other enemies to shoot at each other or grab the gun in time (if I was supposed to). Great submission!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, you're supposed to get enemies to shoot each other in that level, probably shouldn't allow that first enemy to drop a gun as it's a bit misleading.

Great, nicely polished little game.

Very fun to play through even if it was a tad difficult. The music was absolutely banging though, far more than it has any right to be. Please where can I download the soundtrack!

Developer

Thank you! Here's the main song from the game: https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Fourmi/L_Alunissage_des_Fragilos/11_-_Bagan_Party

Wow, awesome concept and movement system! The floating orange particles made it a bit hard to see the moving orange bullets sometimes, but just a very minor nitpick. Excellent work on the music as well.

Love the style of the game, combined with great solid mecanics. You did a really good job on this one! Well done.  Are you going to develop new levels later as well? Want to see more!

Check out my game too :D

Developer

Thank you, I'm thinking about expanding this project further! I have a couple ideas for various types of enemies which I think would be fun and fit the theme (pop-up ads which block visibility, kamikaze enemies which multiply (worms), and maybe things that look to be usable items but are actually trojan horses). I'll sit on ideas for awhile and if ppl want to see more I'd be happy to expand it, I'll try to check out your project tmrw night!

Great style, and interesting movement mechanic.

This is so cool! Love the art style and the controls feel unique. It would be great if I'd had a bit more control in the movement ex. going reverse or let go of the current target since it's quite essential for some levels.

Fantastic work you did here!

Developer

Thank you so much for the compliments! Going in reverse would definitely be a feature I'd implement if I work on this further, I don't think I'd allow the player to let go of a target unless they're already on a node or they've reached the target but the movement mechanic def needs to be polished for future expansion.

Awesome! Later levels are quite challenging. Controls are very simple, but offers many ways to play. Nice visuals and sounds.

Nice Job! Really cool idea to have the beam to pull yourself in with.

HTC Vive User here: So cuuuuuute. Looks like the Animal Crossing faces. Gameplay feels like SUPERHOT. Thanks for a tutorial, its so hard to play this games of the jam without here sometimes. Like the humor! Also the fight music is nice!

5 star rating sent, because it was sure a lot work! Thanks for your submission!

While you are here I've played yours, so please check my game out in the button below.
