Great to see so many features implemented as well as a beautiful level design. I wish it was a little bit easier to beat. But overall Great job!
Very gorgeous environment! Felt very cozy! Love the art style <3
If you find some time this weekend, please check out our game “Starship Minis” and leave a comment to let us know what you think! https://itch.io/jam/vr-jam-2021/rate/1145490
Thanks and congrats on completing the jam!!
Tried to give this one a go, but I don’t think the input was configured right for index controllers. The environment looks really nice though, I like the way you setup the hands!
Really? Because I developed with my Index. What part of the controls were you having trouble with?
I wasn’t able to make it past the title screen - I think I was supposed to be able to shoot the “start” button on the title screen, but none of the buttons seemed to do anything. I can try again later today if there’s something I missed
Oh no problems then, you use the menu buttons by physically touching them. I guess I should have made that more apparent.
Ah yep that did it :p Gave it another go, and it all worked as expected, thanks! I don’t usually stand in the center of my playspace, so the title screen was just far enough away that it seemed like a pointer interface. One approach you might consider is lerping the title screen to be x meters in front of the player, if the title screen is greater than x meters away? Just an option to think about!
It’s a good game, pretty fast paced too! Once I realized that the gems respawned, it was much easier to plan out a strategy. Nice work, it looks great, and it was a nice challenge!
Nice looking game, some fun details like the telescope and the mini jackhammer was fun. The resource management was a little tight for me, but overall a good time!
I screamed when the rock fell from the sky! Loved the concept and really tried my best to beat it. The telescope was a nice touch and I hugged the cat. :) At first I didn't see the timer on the watch and it was a bit confusing, but once I got it, it was really fun to race around the clock! (I could see a game like this being speedran in the future).
Cool idea with the cold & resource management
Took me a bit to get started, but nice work! I really enjoyed the mini jackhammer, and the project overall had a good look to it.
I high fived the cat! Though I had to walk in a loop at least 10 times just to get my counter up high enough to make a loop to place all the stones. I liked that I had to physically use the little rock cutter to get the stones out, I just wish it wasn't set to a timer, as putting the rocks in my watch didn't make much sense to me. I was also excited to get launched out of the cannon, but it just faded to black and placed me there :( I was looking forward to some VR nausea inducing thrill of getting shot out of a cannon. Hopefully, you can update and add that at a later date!
Yeah I was very tempted to add the launch, but I was afraid I wouldn't finish and time, also didn't want to make people sick lol. I'll let you know if I ever add it one day.
