Ok after reading some of the comments I noticed that I wasn't the only one experiencing trouble with the ray interactor appearing double and quadruple in my eyes. The effects looked really nice, I wanted to experience it more but the ray interactor and the teleport just threw me for a loop, so I had to stop.
Thanks! Yeah, I will need to do some research here. I don't think I've been able to reproduce on my Quest. Did the effect show up immediately or after some amount of time?
It was as soon as I started.
I thought you had created some crazy rainbow shader for this, turns out its just my headset bugging out ahaha. I wouldn't have noticed unless I compared the photos you uploaded... it was a little laggy for me too
Thanks for the feedback! What device were you testing on?
Nice atmosphere to this game - great job! It wasn't very challenging, perhaps a bit short, so it would've nice to have a few more things to do in it - but it had a nice dream-like quality to it :)
Thank you, appreciate it!
I like the mystic atmosphere and the basic concept of transporting and sorting lights, but because of the following reasons, it was pretty hard to play for me actually:
Hope that sounds not too bad now, just mean it as "positive" feedback to improve on your next game/s or if you continue with it :-)
Because all in all i like the idea, atmoshphere, sound and this mystical style, but would wish you continue with it and focus a bit more on the UX, then could become really cool.
Thank you for this great feedback! I think adding more visual cues or text is a good idea.
I think the part you were stuck on was when the lights were changing color. You have to make sure you collect the right color (red) to fill up the third red container.
Thanks for testing!
Something is wrong with the controller, the ray has a weird offset of position and rotation to my actual controller.
Also the rotate is on the left thumbstick and movement is on the right? That's a bit conflicting with the current convention.
The graphics and music give a atmospheric experience. Good job on that.
Thanks for testing!
Nice looking and great sound. The puzzle was somewhat unclear but it may be just me not very good listening to the voice. A bit of guessing and the sun was risen.
Thank you, appreciate it!
Did you have a harder time making out the words the voice was saying, or understanding what to do with that information?
Mostly I couldn't hear instructions clear enough for me as a non-native speaker. The phrase ending in something like "disperse it! disperse it!" was very unclear and music was louder, I didn't get it at all. So I guessed what should I "disperse". First try was to mix colors and that lead to nothing. The second time I tried to interact with everything in the room and touched vases with mounty things inside, they reacted and new light source appeared - I was rescued and happy to continue.
That makes sense. Will update the audio in a future version - thanks!
Game crashed really fast, XR Rays render in two different places depending on the eye, very nauseating
Thanks for the feedback! We haven't experienced this testing the standalone build on a Quest 2, so will take a look into it.
