Ranked from 8 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
What external assets did you use in this jam?
Most of the Objects in scene were downloaded (see credits in game for full list). The flame particles came from the Asset Store, the hands were in a preset I assembled before the jam... it's late and I can't remember everything.
What was your favorite part of this jam?
We actually got a game to run and build! It was a first for all of us
What was the hardest part of this jam for you?
Teaching teammates how to use Git, trying to manage the repo with multiple people committing, and having to be both IT for the project and the only coder.
What resources/tutorials do you wish you had when making this game?
Fast ways to set up menus, and how to keep a VR player from going out of bounds (without making walking difficult)

I managed to escape your tower !
There was a weird bug that would push me away from the table when I tryed to grab to blue crystal on it.
I really liked the background music and the environment was immersive for a magical/fantasy tower.
Good job !
Cool Environment! I love how the stylized fantasy looks in VR very immersive like being in a dragon lance book. would be cool to climb the tower and solve some puzzles in it. same bug here that threw me way up in the sky. I experienced that in my game when my rigid body would collide with the hand objects? maybe something similar either way great looking environment!
Saw your comment down lower about the puzzles and i agree Some indicator would be cool maybe a small noise when the items are picked up to indicate importance?
I experienced the same strange clipping others had problems with. I picked up a staff and then went zooming across the world! Ignoring the collision interactions, I think the environment set up is really cool. I'm digging the psychedelic wizard tower. I think players would have greatly benefited having a little more guidance. It's kind of hard to tell what you should do in the tower. It's a great start and it just needs some signs telling players what to do. Great work!
I am not sure if I played it right but I placed all bottles, heared a sound and nothing happend.
I tried opening the door with the key but it would not let me through.
Also the bottles often would just fall through the floor.
The potions are only one of the two puzzles. The sound you heard was up to let you know you finished that puzzle.
Unfortunately, i wasn't able to do anything. I picked up the key and the bottle on the table, but then I could just clip through everything the walls, the table, the door. Not sure what I was supposed to do. Would love like a VO telling me what to do, or some text somewhere that explained what I needed to do.
I'm guessing you were on room-scale VR, and we only tested with stationary. The player collider kinda works stationary, but it doesn't track the headset, so it gets messed up easily (we plan on patching that after the Jam is rated).
What to do is harder, and it would have been good to make them more clear. There are only two puzzles - one with potions, one with crystals.
