There are aspects about this song that I love, and aspects which I like less. I love your quick piano melodies, those sound lovely! However, I seem to have a hard time following some parts. You have a lot of different parts which don't always flow nicely into one another, just as you - I think - put a lot of triplets in your song which confuses me of the rhythm. You likely did this intentionally, as it does fit the concept of 'moments of disaster'. But I would personally still have liked there to be a tad bit more structure, even for a theme like this.
After listening to it some more, I do recognize a structure that I did not recognize at first, so I take some of it back. It is definitely an interesting song, that's for sure, and I like how you try a creative approach. I find it quite fitting for a battle against a mad scientist or something - the uncontrollable and continuously changing music fits that. Cool song :)
Not sure if a disaster is coming or what, because I just forgot everything around me listening to that tight as hell piano playing. The acoustic draft is a killer, as I already knew when listening to it in the Discord. In my opinion, no need to add anything to it. Amazing execution and very interesting and catchy composition. Great job!
yeah sometimes the acoustics are spot on as a draft and I kind of know it
but then one gets roped in to "well after all i have the whole rest of the synthesizer setup, i'm not fully participating if i don't layer" lol
Glad you had fun
Chaotic and creative. Fits the theme perfectly! Well done :-)
