The players go deep into the dungeon and there are encounters and shops the player can go to. Be careful, because there's no going back after going to one place.

I like the overall concept, though having played games that had similar elements I can easily find a lot that could be improved, given both time and thought.
The most important problem is that the Action Turn System (the wait bars in conjunction with a turn-based combat system) was so slow as to artificially make the game longer then it needed to, and outside of showing that the final boss is REALLY slow at attacking, doesn't accomplish it's ideal purposes. I love the exploration music you picked, btw.
And the artstyle was cute.
I'm a fan of turn-based combat so I really like the idea here. I also like that map system, it remenbers me of the map from One step from Eden and fits the theme well, I'm sad I didn't think of something like that. (I wonder if that's were you took inspiration from, since i'm sure this wasn't the game that invented this kind of progression, but was the only one with it that I played so...)
I also liked the art and the character designs, they're pretty cute. The music you chose is way more intense than it has any reason to be tho, holy moly x)
However, the waiting system doesn't have much reason to exist and it does slow the gameplay a bit too much. I genuinelly just went full speed when given the upgrade options just to have to wait a little less. Guarding is also kinda useless tbh, maybe it would be more usable if you didn't recover hp between fights.
Also, the game is bugged for me, I wasn't gaining any money from battles and couldn't learn any of the skills lol
Really cool game! Love the art style and the music is fun!
The system of waiting for a move was interesting, I could see it expanded to a kind of auto battler where you queue up moves, could be quite fun and strategic!

Anyway, thanks for the comment. Although, I'm not fully happy with the game I worked on. There could've been things that improve, such as more sound effects, more music, and better mechanic. This was my first time working on an RPG game and programming it all alone for a one week game jam was a mess. I'll find a way to make a new RPG game, but simpler and easier battle system.

It's a nice game, the art is cute also! :)
But i don't really like the idea of implementing the wait time to attack. Idk, it's kinda ruined the game, you could change it to mana system. The sounds are good, maybe you could add more sfx.
And there is one bug that i encounter, i can't click on a map button so i can't progress.

Thanks for your feedback. Action time based is a very old battle mechanic as it was patented by Square Enix (really) for Final Fantasy 4 until Final Fantasy 9. Thankfully, it's no longer patented in 2014. At first, I was thinking of making the game to be just turn based system, like the usual. However, I thought that action time based would be fun to try on since there's very little games I've played use that mechanic. And yes, more sound effects would be good. However, I didn't have time to work on it. I had only less than 24 hours to add the sound effects and music to the game.
Also, ignore the bug. I have zero intention to fix it as I'm too tired to find how it happened.
I've been on a huge Slay the Spire kick recently so this was cool to see! I really like the character designs for each cat!
