How does your game relate to the theme?
The theme, as released by MelonJam 2024, was 'Polarity.' In this game, players take on the role of an alien using the UFO's attraction and repelling beams to collect animals while avoiding detection from the military. The core mechanics of attraction and repulsion directly embody the concept of polarity, with two opposing forces that players must balance to succeed. The challenge lies in using these forces strategically—pulling animals towards the UFO with attraction, while repelling military threats to maintain stealth. Every decision involves navigating the tension between these two opposing actions, highlighting the theme of polarity in a dynamic and engaging way.

The game doesn't seem to work for me. It shouldn't just be a red canvas, right?

I'm on Linux and use Firefox.

Such a cute game!!! I really enjoyed it!! I love the music and design, and the alien dialogue is such a nice touch haha. Overall really great game!!

Great submission, I really like the core idea and the art was really good too! I agree with the other comments that repulsion could have more of a role, but is fun to use none the less. The depth effect, although finicky at times, was a nice touch as well. Overall, great game!

This game is great! I love the music and sound design, and the art is also really cute. The destructible buildings were a cool detail even though it took me a while to figure out what was causing it. The gameplay was fun and unique, but I wish the repulsion beam was more necessary in some way because you can go through the whole game without using it.

This was fun! I didn't really find a need to use the repulsion beam ever though

The repulsion beam is there to be used to destroy the tanks that are attacking you but is’t necessary. It’s fun to destroy the city using the tanks tho lol
