This game was a small but fun experience. The graphics are nice, using a simple pixel art aesthetic to it's advantage, and the puzzles themselves, while easy, were fun to solve. The audio, however, was extremely lacking. There was only music, and it was so quiet I could barely hear it. I'm not sure if that's a problem on my end or not, but it's a problem I only came across in this game. One other thing I didn't like was how the dialogue was closed with a single left click even if it wasn't finished, so I didn't get to see all of it. I would've preferred if there was a button to skip the scrolling and show all the text at once, or at least prevent me from closing it before the text was completely shown. I did appreciate the dialogue however, as it makes you feel like you're actually failing to progress, instead of simply making flags a fail condition.

Thank you for this feedback! There is more audio, but you just had to turn up your volume to hear all of it.  I've learned to design my games for headphones because if I don't, I kill people's ears with loudness when they wear headphones. I agree with you about the text thing. Once again, thank you for playing! (:

I liked what you did with the theme, i always admire people who do puzzle game during gamejam, it's really hard to make good puzzle, and i think you nailed did, the game work perfectly, it's finished, clean, and fun, good job !!

This is a very charming game. The graphics are nice and very simple. The polish is very good. The movement is crisp and I felt in control the whole time. The game takes a nice twist towards the later levels. I really enjoyed playing through your game.

Thank you! (:

Nice concept! The idea of intentionally failing platformers seems like a fun one! Nice job taking such a simple concept and flipping it on its head! The color palette looks nice too, but some of the flags blend into the background (if that isn't intentional) Overall, fun game with a fun concept!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Your game was fun too!

The concept of purposely failing is very good here and i like annoying the guy who tells you to solve puzzles :D

There’s so much to this game that I already love. I would’ve loved to see support for the WASD keys, but otherwise an excellent game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Not sure why the WASD keys didn't work. Hmmm. That's really strange. A and D move you left and right unless you wanted to be able to jump with W. If your WASD wasn't working in general, I'm not sure why.

Submitted

Oh! If that’s the case, it may be an issue with Safari on macOS since I noticed that the D key sometimes doesn’t work in Unity WebGL games in Safari for some reason.

Developer

Yeah. That could be it since I haven't had any issues on Windows WebGL and I don't know about any of the other platforms.

I kind of feel bad for the guy at EvilPuzzles Corporation. Really fun game! I had a similar idea for my platformer :)

Developer

Yeah, lol. Thank you for playing by the way! If I remembers later, I will check out your game for sure! (:
