The game is a little challenging but the art, music, and SFX are great. Amazing job!
Thanks!! (^u^)
great game, could be a bit easier
Thanks for playing!! (^u^)
Ok, that was kind of challenging. More from a platforming perspective than from a puzzle perspective.
But anyway, it was a good game. Well done, and well executed.
Good job!
Well, it's always apprecciated a good challenge... right??
Well, i'm glad you liked anyway!! (^u^)
Fun puzzles and the controls feel really good. Took me a while to understand to jump into the blue laser line to get a second box, but after that it was all clear. Great job!
Yeah... Your not the first person who told me that the eletricity dosen't look deadly enough... (or that at least it isn't apparent that you need to use die there)
Thanks for the feedback!! (^D^)
Great looking game, its a great idea for a game and the puzzle side of the game is enjoyable. Good Job!
Thank you for playing!! (^u^)
Nice! Movement feels pretty snappy, and I noticed you implemented coyote time as well. Good job!
I'm glad you liked the player controller!! Thank you for playing!! (^u^)
amazing game, very polished and was fun to play. good job!
Thanks!! I'm glad you liked it!! (^u^)
Good Job! A few feedback tho, for a platformer game it's kinda weird to have the jump not with "Up Arrow" or "W", I also found an exploit where you can double jump when spamming "X" and "Space", I used this to pass the level 1 before I realize the laser in level 0 has a reason, maybe I didn't get the hint or maybe I just a big dumdum.
I'm sorry, but i totally disagree with your opinion of the jump key: In my opinion having the jump key separated from the moviment keys (WASD/Arrow Keys) feels much better to control. I don't think i'll ever change that :/
Thanks for telling me the double jump bug, i'll have to look into that...
Ps. You're NOT a dumdum (^.^)
Fun game! I thought the main mechanic was really creative and I like the transitions when you moved between rooms! I agree with some of the other comments that mentioned the game felt like it abandoned the cool main mechanic in favor of more traditional platforming. I get that its hard to balance things like this especially in a game jam so I don't count it against my rating at all. Just wanted to give feedback because I really liked this game!
I'm happy that you liked it!! The transition it's just two cinemachines switching from one to another.
Like i've already answered before, I totally agree that the main mechanic isn't fully explored.
Thanks for the feedback!! (^D^) I apprecciated that you felt the need to give some feedback to show your appretiation for the game!! I know the feeling, and i apprecciate that!! I also apprecciate that your comment wasn't just a simple "Your game is cool, i really liked it", even tho it'd also be just enough for me!! Thank You!! (^u^)
The sound loop is a bit short but not so much that it gets annoying and it does sound good. The sprites also look great and the controls where nice.
I do like the little hints you gave. Made it obvious what to do for people like me who don't really play platformers. I also don't think it was too short. At least, not for a gamejam game. You showed your mechanic, played a bit with it and left before it got boring while leaving behind a challenge for those that wanted more.
Thanks for your detailed feedback!! It always makes me happy when i receive comments like yours... (^u^)
I'm happy that you thought that the music is nice... I'm no musician, and i just threw some random notes together and adjusted them until they sounded nice, so i was a bit worried for the music before the rating period... I'm definitely want to learn and understand how to make music, so hopefully it will be longer in the future =D
I'm glad that the hints were useful: when my playtesters were playing the game i noticed that they were often confused on what to do or were to go (even the ones who are good at platformers), or just simply had trouble executing a session. Looking at the overall feedback, adding them was a good compromise imo, even tho if the exploration part was a bit lost and some players felt a bit "spoon-fed"
Ye, you're probably right about the length of the game, considering that this is a game for a game jam. The game, as a whole, is short, having only 5 rooms, and it can be completed in less than a minute, compensating only with some additional challenges. I wished i could have added at least 2 more rooms tho... :3
The graphics is the only thing that i can't take credit for. I just took a free asset pack online, and use it for the game. (Credits for the description if you're interested)
I'm happy that you liked the game!! Thanks for playing!! (^D^)
Great game! awesome in every single aspect in my opinion!
Wow, you really think that?? O.o
Thanks for your kind words, they've made my day!! (^u^)
