I loved this game although it didn't really follow the topic and I have an idea of an scrap and it is the black hole scrap, It pauses the falling of scraps and sucks up every scrap until its all gone and then the falling of scraps resume.

Also this may be my last rating of a game of this jam also I have skipped a day of rating which was yesterday I think sorry.

Props to your wife for putting up with the madness...I know I told mine "thank you" many times too. :D For some reason I was having flash backs of playing the Mario Galaxy minigame where you have to blow up scraps. ;) I never knew shooting scraps would be enjoyable. :D Didn't understand the "suit integrity" concept as things kept falling on my head by I seemed fine. I did start to get cold so I jump into the lava...Now I know that's the right way of taking breaks :P

had a lot of fun playing this

Nice artstyle, sound, and satisfying gameplay.
A little bit smoother camera movement would have been nice.

Developer

Thanks so much! Yes, you are right about the camera. It is too sensitive. Maybe in a later version I will give the player an option to set it to their preference. Glad you enjoyed the rest of it, though!

That was actually really good, the best 3D game I've played on this jam so far! The only difficulty was when using the mouse to move the camera it was a little too sensitive, but I got a little used to it after some time. Overall though, really well done, it wasn't laggy, the gameplay was good, and it was fun so really nice job!

I’m sure if I spent more time with it, I would be better, but it’s a pretty nice game that you could probably use as a means to relax. Also worked really well with my Mac on Safari. 👍🏻

Nice! I'm glad you got that vibe! My original and future intent is to turn it into a first person match-3 game. Unfortunately I didn't have time to implement that, but maybe one day!

Hey that was fun to play lol I like how the visuals change to blue when you're too cold and red to when you're too hot! I don't know what the connection to the theme was but it was a fun game nevertheless. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah, I do think the theme isn't super well represented. I wanted to have put in some additional art in the environment to suggest that Scraptacular Inc. was a very dysfunctional, failing, and unsafe company, but that was some polishing I didn't have enough time for. Thanks for playing though!

Really fun to play around in!

I would say that a more bass-y sound effect would make it even more rewarding to play.

Well done!

Also just noticed the pun, bonus points in my book

Developer

I wish I'd had a little more time to polish up the sound, yeah. But I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I'll check out what you got when I get the chance.

A simple idea with great execution, everything about this made this game really satisfying to play. The temperature system was a nice way to add a bit of pressure to the situation.

Loved the game!

Developer

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it! I'll check out your game too when I get the chance.

I didn't get what was the catch :(

Developer

That's understandable. I realize the game needs more visual or audio indication of your suit heating up/cooling down. The catch of the game is that your suit heats up or cools down in response to being near hot or cold scrap blocks. If the temperature is too extreme, your suit integrity goes down. If it goes to zero, it's game over. Sorry it wasn't more obvious, lesson learned!

I don't get this game.... for me it was a messy and confusing experience, but your next game will be better :>

Developer(+1)

Ouch! I'm sorry you had that experience. Thank you for taking the time to play though.

Scraptacular indeed! Quite fun and satisfying to destroy those blocks!

Good job!

Please consider playing and rating my game if you get the chance :)
