Really nice visuals and the UI stuff is cool. Great job!

Check out my game if you can :)

The theme here might have hurt you a bit but I love the visuals, I think you've got a good base kit here and can absolutely make a fully fleshed out game in no time post jam. Don't give up on this, I'd love to see more!

Thank you so much for the feedback man! We will work on this project post jam, it will take some time because not everyone from the team has time... but thank you my guy!

Ayy, beat this one. Only had 7 extra seconds on my timer when I beat it. I feel that's pretty good haha. Like Paulby said, I think the theme doesn't really fit with the gameplay. Feels a bit forced. It doesn't really make sense either. You get fired, but then rehired to do the same job? Feels a bit like an afterthought. Also, I wasn't a huge fan of the level design. It feels like oldschool sonic in that the mechanics want you to go fast (when you get in a rhythm it feels really good to go quickly), but the level design has a bunch of little obstacles in the way the completely halt your forward momentum. I think it'd be way more fun to design the levels around the idea of going fast and keeping you in the rhythm. The visuals are nice and the music is pretty good. Overall, good game. Thanks for making it!

Thank you for the feedback, we wanted to make the game make a little more sense in terms of the game over screen but we only had 3 hours left...

i think sticking to the theme hurt this game, its frustrating to keep redoing the start

Thank you for your feedback! After the jam we might do a remake without the whole "Failure is Progress" thing, that sure made things really difficult... But thank you for your honest comment!

pretty cool, I liked the music, but i didnt understand what made me lose in the game, the lose screen poped up at random ocasions, maybe a death message would help? idk.

good job anyways!

Very good use of music and sound in this game, really enjoyed how it blended seemlessly with the gameplay. this game has alot of charm, although I am unable to complete it. Any tips? Also, was it made based on the theme or was it not?

Developer(+1)

It was done based on the theme, a tip to complete it is to jump in addition to increasing your speed increases your score that will be transformed in time

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

Thank you! It was based on the theme. In order to beat the game you need to run out of time, when you run out of time you convert your points into extra seconds in your next run, the extra seconds never reset, so the more you fail the more progress you can make!

Ah! I was wondering why I was going further each run!
