Interesting concept and use of mechanics, nice job.
This types of game aren't my thing 🥲
Platform moments are tedious for me !
Overall. nice entry!
Nice job! The controls are well implemented and responsive, and the melancholic music suits the story and the atmosphere really well. Perhaps the field of vision could have been bigger.
This is awesome! You've nailed a great game feel and the art and audio is so polished for just a weekend of work. Only real critique is that it can be a bit punishing without an extra hit point or two and this had me playing it a bit slow and on the safe side. But the levels aren't too long so even the trickier sections didn't become a huge grind. I'm glad he found Rebecca!
Woah, I can’t believe you made those graphics and levels in just this much time. You even fit a storyline in! This is the first time I’m giving a game all 5 starts for creativity.
Thank you so much for this nice game!
getting past the beams were tough but really had fun playing this one! The music and atmosphere was great and the controls were perfect. Great job on this!! :D
Good game and great art only thing that frustrated me was the limited vision and that made looking where I had to jump hard overall great game.
Clever game concept!
I really liked your take on the theme. I also like its simple but effective art. Something I would change is making the light radius slightly larger, and having the helper robot stay relative to the player. Overall good jam entry!
Absolutely stunning. What a masterpiece of game design.
The use of the theme was pretty good, with the AI helping you in a multitude of ways, but it can get annoying constantly having to click the next area and constantly have to scout ahead. The art on the enemies, background and robot were pretty good, and I like the visual storytelling of the bodies in the chambers. The art on John could be better, though. I loved how you could snipe an enemy's bullet!
On theme, and the art/color scheme looks good! It’s pretty hard and a little frustrating to have such limited visibility but not in a bad way. Seems like it would get easier with practice.
Really enjoyable game
I like the way you used the topic
really enjoyable game love the art and the ai the song go really well with the game
I enjoyed this game. It's easy understand and fun to play!
This is very pleasant game to play. The idea is great and while I agree that sometime it's hard to see where to jump, you soon realize that you need to scout ahead with the robot before doin dangerous jumps, then it gets really engaging. Love that you made a story out of this. I have a couple of suggestions if you don't mind: I think the robot should follow the mouse if you hold down the right button instead of continuosly clicking, so you can more precisely maneuver the robot while handling the enemies. Also another suggestion is to make the player have more health instead of just one hit. Overall it's really enjoyable i liked it :D (also +1 for including multiple keyboard layouts)
Fits the theme very well! Really cool that you included a narrative.
But sometimes I had a hard time seeing where I had to jump.
This game comes together very well! Everything works well together, and the main mechanic is simple to understand. Well done!
Loved the idea! Great job!
5/5 for me, Really great collaboration idea, with polished gameplay. I like the idea of sending the bot out and exploring so I know it's safe to continue. The storyline was good as well. it's always nice to know why you are doing what you are doing.
