The game fits the theme pretty well, I like how the AI has a prominent role unlike a lot of other games this jam. One big thing I would suggest for the graphics is to just make the whole game 2d and use sprites (even if they aren't animated). That way it's much easier to make the graphics look clean. The robot sprite in the thumbnail looks pretty good. As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, it has some potential but there are a lot of small problems that add up:

  • There's a lot of dead space in the levels which means a lot of waiting for the robot to walk through them
  • The charge meter isn't really necessary but it can be frustrating if it runs out
  • The tiles disappearing every time you start the level even when you need to use them is kinda annoying and can be confusing if you don't realize you can move cards while the level is running
  • Some of the levels are a bit long, it can be really tedious to have to get multiple turn around dodges in a row while also dragging all the cards you need across the level
  • Every time you reset the level, all the cards go back in your hand so you have to place them back every time.

Most of these issues are very fixable, and I completely understand them with the intense time limit Lol.

This Game is really nice. I'm not the biggest Puzzle fan, but I still had some fun! ^^

Of course, the graphics could be much better, but they are good enough for a game jam.

The Music is nice and pretty fitting for the game.

I'd definitely like to see a bit more of this! :)

I like the concept! My only suggestion would be to speed up the game. The levels look unnecessarily big, and the robot is already quite slow. But, overall, great game!

Congratulations on your submission!

the game is quite fun and i think it could be improved

  • inverted zoom felt weird first time playing
  • the robot flies out of orbit if it touched spikes or that bean thing in level 2
  • 3d environment is nice to look at

overall not a bad game

Developer

Why is the second point a bad thing lol

its not necessarily a bad thing, just something you could fix if you have enough free time

Pretty cool game with simple mechanics.

The mechanic in the last level Red Herring could be explained a bit better and a 2x Speed button would be cool but you said that its allready done in your newest build so thats good.

Overall its a nice puzzle game, something to calm down and think a bit

Your game has a different mechanic, that's cool!! But I got stuck in level 3 because, although the robot jumps, it colllides with the spike anyawy.I tried the other version and I had the same problem.

Developer

This is not a bug, you still have something to figure out so the robot could jump over this spike

I liked the visuals, really nice, especially the background and the robot! Good job on the game!

Developer

Thank you so much!

as I see it some tiles can be placed/edited during play, and some can't, would be nice if they where marked somehow, But apart from that great concept and execution!

I tried the game and liked it. A logical game where you need to help (unfortunately, not quite collaborate) a robot. Visuals are really great for a game made in 3 days, same to the music, congratulations! I’ll take a look even to the better post-jam version and see how much you polished!

Real creative use of theme, would be cool to see the idea developed more.

I can't past the first level, even if I put the Jump card in the correct position, Rob still jump into the spike.

This build works almost on all screens but some will have a problem with the aspect ratio (The jump card is too big on the first level). this was fixed here:

Needed some more explanation/tutorial at the beginning of the game, to make things easier. Still, a really nice game!

I really like the concept and the 3D environment

A tutorial at the start will be great, because it's took me some time to understand

and you should add a pause menu

Otherwise, the game is great!!

Really neat idea, I feel like the obstacles could benefit from being more visible, since as of right now it blends with the skybox when there are no trees. But it could definitely be expanded upon.  Turn around card is a really cool concept.
