Your cat coffee logo is so cute! Also the whole game is great, the snowman animations really get me. I wish there has been more ranged ammo around because I definitely wasted it all too early haha

Developer(+1)

Thank you! we couldnt decide if we wanted the pixel art version or not. And I did have a lot of fun with the snowman's animations.

Really polished, one of my favourite games I have played so far! Probably needed a bit more of a tutorial at the beginning  but it was really fun once you got the hang of it.

Things I liked:

Art style was fab, I am always a huge fan of pixel art and yours was super polished! I liked the overall style of combat, with champain being long range and the alternate being more close range short bursts. Having your enemies basically get "pacified" back into their correct forms was a genius idea and allowed you to play around with all kinds of yogscast memes.

Things that could be better:

This was overall one of the more intensive games graphically that I have played and my computer did chug a bit surprisingly. It might be a good idea to look into some performance enhancing code structures in the future. In addition while playing I didn't have a strong sense of "goal". I understood I had to go through portals to progress but other than that and ultimately dying I didn't feel like I had a real direction to go.

Ultimately however, definitely one of the big winners of this jam!

Thank you, the team and I had great fun working on the graphics, and we planned way much more.

as for the performance issues; you are the only person who has noticed any, it may be a driver or compatibility issue, this game should not be too resource intensive.  I do agree with the sense of goal being an issue, we planned to have a bit of story at the start explaining your situation, but we didnt have time. We plan on improving this game in the future.

Thank you for playing!
