Nice concept, and I personally like the Octopath style where you have pixel art characters in a 3D world. With some of the pacing issues, the lack of sound really made the pace feel slower than it already was. However, this is a game jam not a professional piece - you should be impressed with what you got done!
EDIT: If you do revisit the game / tweak some values, I'd be interested in replaying it.
Thanks, I've made some small changes based on others feedback. Actual update will be posted when the voting period ends so for now its just Images. Let me know what you think - https://leafyxr.itch.io/a-lost-light/devlog/115028/post-jam-update

I like art direction except for the wall textures which SpeedyBrain also picked up on. I fell through the floor on one occasion and the lifts could have moved a little faster for my liking, and the lack of sound was a bit disappointing, but there's only so much that can be done in 48 hours.
The concept was quite interesting (got some Until Dawn vibes) and I think it's just a case of not having enough time to fully finish it. I think it'd be really neat with a bit more time and polish!
Wall textures were one of the first things I did, before I'd decided on the look completely.
From all my testing runs I never fell through the floor so I'd be interested to know where that occurred.
As mentioned in a previous comment, lifts were one of the last additions, changing the speed is easy it's just a case of time limits preventing getting the right balance.
And as for sound effects, I didn't really think about it at all.
I'm happy with how it turned out overall but I think I might revisit it at some point in the new year.
Hi Leafy; it was after you pass the first gate. Rather than operate the lift behind that gate straight away, I carried on to the right and fell through the floor. Hope that helps!
Oh right, I know what section you mean, I think I forgot to add a collision box to the model up there, oops.

Interesting puzzle game. Love the light in this game.
Not a fan of the mixed pixel and realistic art. Levers feel a bit weird.
Originally it was going to be completely 3d, but I decided to save time by using sprites for the Characters. I know what you mean about the levers, they were one of the last things I did in a mad rush.
Still a great game done in 48hrs. Keep on making more.

Really atmospheric and very pretty. Sometimes a little tricky to figure out where to stand to pull the levers, but that's my only criticism.
The Levers needed more time for sure, I was in a rush to get all the levers, lifts and doors in for the last two hours of the Jam.
Neat art direction :)
Could have used a jump button, otherwise pretty cool
A and D to move, Q to Pick up/Drop, E to Interact, Escape to Pause.
For Controllers - Right Stick to move, B to Pick up/Drop, A to Interact, Options to Pause, B to Cancel.
