Really nice game! The 3 bears were brutal to get through, but it was fun! Reminded me of the old gameboy games I used to play on emulators. Art, sound and music are all on point!

Thank you!

Nice game name ;) I love the concept, would totally play a full RPG about delivery presents. I too got wrecked by bears.

Developer

Welp!  DA BEARS!  Thanks!

Nice RPG, those bears wrecked me!

FYI if you go to edit your game page you can set the .zip folder to hidden,  I had the same issue as ninjaconor but the .lzh works perfectly fine (extracted with 7zip)

Developer

Thanks!  And why is everyone getting those bears so often?  You have...like, I think, a 10 percent chance of running into them (except for the three bears of course, that are guarding a high value treasure room.)!

And yeah, I know.  I didn't hide it because half the people who play my games either have RM2K or the RTP, and they yell at me whenever I use the extractor.  "I don't want to dump that s*** onto my desktop!"  Okay.  Chill pill!  Please!  Maybe I will hide it.

Not what I was expecting to see in a game jam, but I really like it.  It's a cool, if not direct, take on the theme

Thank you!

SO MANY BEARS. Good entry mate, I'm curious, did you make the artwork yourself? It's really fitting.

Developer(+1)

Oh!  You got a lot of bears, huh?  I put them really low in initiative.  RNG must have really liked them for your play through.  The graphics are from the White Screw Store, and I cannot recommend them enough!

I think having the two downloads is a bit confusing. I downloaded the zip first and couldn't run the game because I don't have RPG Maker 2000 installed. As a game, it's fairly solid RPG Maker stuff. Town map is pretty nice. The battles need a bit more balancing as they're definitely on the  hard side and I think the dungeon could have been made smaller and more puzzley, as it's a bit of a grind getting through it. I think it was a pretty good game though given the time limit.

Developer

Thank you!  Also, I included the .zip file because the .lzh confused the hell out of me.  It's first time I've seen a zip file with that extension.  I guess 7-Zip can open it though.

Developer

Okay!  Getting ready to play yours now!

I can't figure out how to use these files :(

Developer

If you download the .zip file, simply scroll down until you find RPT_RT with the application tag.  If you downloaded the .lzh, I actually don't know.  It's what the compression agent zips into.  That's why I also zipped the project folder so that you could just have the whole project.

It tells me I don't have RPG Maker installed when I open that, which is quite true :/, not sure what to do

Developer

Unzip the .lzh file with 7-Zip, then.  I completely forgot to include the RTP in the .zip.

Developer

Anyhoo, I'm getting ready to play your game, now.
