Hi Hissy!

Questions:

1) Can i rearrange the order of the confederate cards when i assign them to the union? example: I want my confederate jack from column 2 assigned against the Union 10 on column 3?

2) Combat constitutes all 3 phases correct? So if I'm resolving combat in row A...the union cards and confederate cards combat result only apply to row A, right?

Sorry for all the questions 😅

once you assign your card, it can not be reassigned, but otherwise YES you can play your card, flipped or not to ANY flipped/exposed Union card. if you play one of your un-flipped cards, you assign it and then flip it. and no worries ask away. =)

second question, you resolve each column separately. example column A - Union has a 7 and I played a 3 and a 5, I win the column 8-7 and get 1 point, column B is uncontested, Union wins 1 point, Column C, Union has an 8, i played a K, I win column C and win a point. I win the combat 2-1 so check the +1 row in the combat results table. I really struggled to explain this to fit on the postcard...LOL

Perfect! Oh i understand perfectly what you saying about fitting rules into the postcard...you will see the struggle when you get to my games lol Thank you for the answers, appreciate everything you do my friend.

Hey Hissy,

If i commit a card, does that mean I'm automatically challenging it?

yes

So is what you are saying that the player can combine 2 or even 3 confederate cards in a column/challenge to win, and each confederate card can only be used once. Or am I confused again?

that is correct.
