Short but VERY sweet, I can see there's a lot of potential in this and I love the unique take on the special object! Was very fun though there's a few small issues (e.x. screen goes dark when you die with no option to restart), but for a simple concept made in two days, it was still above expectations. Great work!

The pixel art was clean and the music was nice! Overall, the presentation was good, though the gameplay felt a bit lackluster and slow with not much to it. But it fit the jam's special object quite well, great job!

Thanks for the feedback! With the shadows, I'm now realizing how big of a missed opportunity that was...

And as for the main character, I was planning on animating it eventually but didn't get enough time to do so; I was lucky to even get enough spare time to animate the enemies.

I'll definitely work on this game after the jam ends and will add both of these suggestions!

The elemental concept was really fun! This might just be me but I also liked the robotic sounding voice lines announcing each level, not sure why that stuck out to me so much lol

I liked the character animations, they were very cute :) Audio was also well done, nice job overall!

I appreciate the feedback! I'll probably keep working on this game after the jam and will fix some of these issues.

Brutally difficult but challenging in a fun way. I enjoyed it :)

Really fun take on poker! I liked the music and gameplay

I really like the artstyle! has a very homemade vibe to it :)

The gameplay was really interesting and I especially liked the puzzle where you have to reverse an enemy and ride it up to the goal! Overall really fun :)

I used this tutorial, had to modify it slightly to work with top-down tilemaps but for the most part it's the same premise! If you're doing it top-down the directional light doesn't look very good, so I just relied solely on a point light in the player. Hope it helps!

Great demo, there isn't much to do but the particles and art still make for a really fun few minutes! Hope to see more content out of this eventually :)

Thank you!!! Is there anything in particular you think I could improve about the gameplay? I didn't have enough time to balance it properly before the deadline :)

Glad you liked the shadows, they were surprisingly simple to make :)

Loved the art, voice acting, and unique gameplay! Great job!

Very fun game with simple but fun gameplay that gets chaotic really quick! The art is also really nice, I enjoyed it!

Fun game, I enjoyed it! It was an interesting take on the theme, nice job!

I love the audio and visual style! The particles and sprites have a very distinct, glowing look to them. Great job!

I mean that the puzzles were challenging in an enjoyable way. After my first failed attempt I understood the game, and enjoyed the trial and error aspect the rest of the way through.

It's great to see that you care enough to ask for feedback!

The gameplay was surprisingly more puzzling than I thought it would be, and the visuals and sound are great!

In the Q&A section, it says this:

Q: Can I use the soundtrack I composed for other projects later on? A: Yes, we do not own anything you submit. All rights are reserved to the original composer(s).

So I assume anything made for the jam is still owned by you and you can do whatever you want with it.
