We were indeed going to have better options for water supply after progressing further with the game, but like you have correctly guessed, we did run out of time. Also we were meant to have selling/destroying buildings added which would have felt better than the current state at which the wells run out of water and are but only a waste of space. It would have also made more sense if we were to go with limited resources for everything, including trees and rocks rather than respawning, which was a plan, but would not work for the game jam.

A nice fun and challenging platformer, which like mentioned in the description does present itself having inspiration from jump king, but does not just copy. You have a nice approach to the movement which allows for you to be precise and if not calculated the jump right you fall and repeat. Good fun.
The idea of building your own vehicle to traverse through the level is cool and challenging, but also creates a bit of replayability and chance to try different structures. Could use with some bigger variety of building block, for instance like a spring that you can push yourself with would be nice in case you get stuck like I did myself on spikes in the last level. Good entry though.
Artstyle and visual aspect of this entry is definitely the highlight here. There is not much to the gameplay with player performing same action throughout, but with a slight difficulty curve and sword getting bigger and heavier. With that, an interesting approach to the theme, but I would want to be able to perform more actions and having some side mechanics perhaps to play around with to add some variety.
If you have made all of these systems for the game during the jam then that's pretty impressive. You have a decent setup for a project you can work on now. Hard to say if it fits the theme however. There could be the argument of "the game is built to scale with progression and doing x and y" and in a way you probably have hit the theme, just not as visible in that sense I suppose. Good stuff anyway, I hope you make it into a full game!
Merge Mania is a brilliant game that focuses on turret management and upgrading your arsenal and getting high grade turrets. After managing to save enough money, you can buy bombers which deal great with a larger amount of enemies and dealing damage to all of them at once. I had lots of fun and potentially could play it for longer if I wanted to, but I had to go put me kids to sleep.
(But just so you know, you can pause the game)
Overall, a splendid attempt at a tower defence game. Here's my score:
10/10

Unfortunately we were running short on time and didn't really get to polish the game in the end... So stuff like balancing the enemies (mainly the mage) and increasing hitboxes etc. just wasn't a thing. Also, yes, again unfortunately we only had 3 levels including the tutorial as there was no time to create more, and so we also didn't get to do an ending screen. We were planning on at least 4 more levels and each having 6 variations as you'd roll the dice for each level's difficulty, but that's all I guess, planning big for a game jam is just not smart, but it was fun.
I don't know if it's also a web problem, but the shooting is a bit weird sometimes as the bullets go through the enemies when I'm perfectly aiming at them, and have to aim a bit lower than the enemy stands to get a hit. Apart from that it's a solid game which is fun to play and has nice visuals. I got to wave 14 btw.
