I'm trying to save the settings of this game while NOT having SAV1.sav occupied when I start the game, any ideas?  Currently the game saves the graphics settings if I save the game to SAV1.sav but the moment I delete the first save file (to make room for a new run), it resets the graphics settings to default. 

At the moment I can kind of get a workaround by starting the game, and when it's silent after the Sony PS1 BIOS bootscreen, I can Windows Key out into the File Explorer and delete SAV1.sav really quickly and it'll retain settings while being a clean setup, I was just wondering if there was any less janky way. It's not really a big deal, I was just curious.

ive gotten the true boss and i did the whole game BL4 and it reset me to BL10, just so you know. 

again, thats more of just a NG, not NG+

yeah i mean more difficult. currently the game resets you but allows you to keep one weapon and one item (and by items meaning one out of all the items, you have to pick from blood vials, keys, hunter tools, anything)

personally idk what youre asking by the second half of your second paragraph (sorry) so i will say this (SPOILER): you can only upgrade your weapon to +5 so rocks would be useless anyway.

would be awesome if this game put a NG+ into it, even if it was just a minimal boost like +5 or +10% enemy damage and health

the game isnt lacking without it but it would be funny to beat it on NG+7, i already beat it on BL4

MINOR DETAIL BUT: when the game restarts, it restarts you on i think the Milquetoast class instead of the class you were on

this is actually gold. i didnt have many complaints with the game but one of the few i did have was that certain areas are so damn literally DARK. like too dark to see. i get you were supposed to use the torch but i didnt learn this until like halfway through.

32-bit apps are still supported even in Windows 11, what are you on about?

i actually mentioned in my near 13 hour stream playing this game that if 3 is a bug i hope they keep it as a feature because its awesome

although tbh, i think it would be even more amazing if you released it in the game like you mentioned. (edit: even if you released it in the current game but at a later date)

pretty much every time a game like this doesnt work with my gamepad if i add it as a non-Steam game and launch it in Big Picture it works

yes! i even used it to map my Guitar Hero controller (although i think that also needed WiiHID as a driver) to play games like the Soulsborne series on the GH controller and it worked better than JoyToKey or other softwares in a lot of cases! 

a few people asked but had a few other questions so the people that answered mostly just answered the other questions, so im here directly asking:

what does the 7 insight door do? what "changes above surface"?

i spent 3.9k echoes twice and i ran through the map each time and didnt notice any certain changes.

I would say I spent like 3 or 4 hours trying to find Bloodborne Kart (didnt find it) and like an hour or so admittedly to loading screens (to keep the authentic feel) but holy shit this was a literal masterpiece of not even a demake but its complete own game. 

I don't want to spoil much, but it isn't "just the first two bosses", and there is SO MUCH HIGH QUALITY original content. (edit: and that final surprise??? are you kidding????? i couldnt even find the words good enough to describe it)

I've played a lot of remakes and demakes and fan games, and this was among the greatest I've ever played. I give it a solid 9 out of 10.

This was also the perfect blend of Bloodborne's feeling and PS1 feeling, it felt like it just kept getting better and better.

Lilith and whomever was involved with this game, you're literal geniuses. So much talk of this being "a Cease and Desist waiting to happen", FromSoft and Sony should be begging to hire you. This was a phenomenal masterpiece and you should be proud. 

i saw someone posting in the news that Bloodborne Kart was going to be accessible as a secret

if it is, please dont spoil (for me at least), just tell me its in the game

@wheelchairgam3r yes it does! just tried. after you start the game in Big Picture mode, press Shift and Tab, then click Controller Configuration, then set to how you want. i duped L2 and R2 to my Right Analog stick Left and Right movement. 

add it as a Non-Steam Game to Steam, enable support for your controller in Steam, then start the game in Big Picture mode 

pretty certain its by design because the analog sticks work in menu for me but not in game, and a Messenger Sign says "Navigate: (D-Pad)"

Steam cuts out the need for that but if someone is trying to not use Steam for some reason DS4Windows works just the same i think

okay yeah. i only tried walking around and using the camera and only R1 attacked but it seems the game wants an Xinput device, which i have Steam set to make my PS4 controller into an Xinput gamepad
