This is a bug, minutes before submission we accidentally shifted the level downwards. Sorry our game is unbeatable!

Dangerous with Java? Take a look at libGDX.

While I love what this implies about Java as a language, maybe (to keep the alliteration) it could be changed to “Jiving with Java?” Just a fun thought :3

Interesting and unique concept. Art was nice, controls felt finicky, background could have used some more things going on, but all things considered pretty good!

Concept was fine, there could have been more cards, but that was about it. Presentation and overall polish was great, especially considering the time constraints! The color palette was also dope.

Awesome game! Quick few things (I’m sure you’re working on/aware of!):

  • Spike pits don’t function properly during “toolkit mode,” softlocking the player
  • Controls aren’t really presented to the player
  • No option to quit to the menu/desktop Besides those minor things, I had a great time!

5/5 on all fronts, game good

Holy –– this is good. The 2nd level before the boss is really hard, but the boss was easier and way more fun. I recommend adding I-Frames during the boss battle, but this is a 5-star right here!

Controls kinda funky, camera is wack, but the concept is pretty cool!

HOLY HELL THIS IS THE BEST GAME I’VE PLAYED FOR THE JAM SO FAR! Polish is incredible! You could afford to make the pink obstacles more clear, but the amount of… everything there is awesome! GGs!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I kinda forgot about implementing an exit button until it was too late, along with some other features. (like drift particles) I’ll try out your game as thanks!

This is spectacular! I’d play this if more content was added in the future! The juice is amazing with the blood, and the combat feels great! Only hiccup would be how strong the club is. Keep on going!

I like it! Shooting feels nice, upgrade system is cool. My negatives; music doesn’t loop right, and there’s only 1 (I think?) enemy. If expanded on, this could be a really cool game! Nice work man!

Thanks for the compliments! I’m sorry you were unable to run it properly, the system I used to implement all the levels starts in one level, and uses streaming to connect them all. That’s the reason why some people get stuck in the floor, because the levels don’t properly load before the player spawns. Next iteration of the game we’re gonna load each level separately and swap between them.

This is amazing! All the concepts are clever, the assets are polished, the cutscenes are excellent, best game I’ve seen so far!
