Very interesting concept, did not expect a rhythm game! Music and graphics work together surprisingly well. If you are going to make a full version post comp maybe there is a better way to telegraph the laser movement behavior.

Super cute and the puzzles got me because it looked like it wasn’t gonna be a thinky game. Glad to be proven wrong.

Cute game! It’s an innovative mechanic! The jump through wall is satisfying to pull off. If you’re gonna expand this post jam, two things I wished for were some kind of grace period when you hit space so that if I jump right after I phase I don’t fall through the floor (but my friend disagrees). Also it would be neat to have checkpoints.

Beautiful idea and aesthetic! I could not figure out the lockbox but the amount of work that must have gone into this is stunning. If you are expanding this post jam, one small wish is an autocomplete for the text section.

Very beautiful! The aesthetics of this game are all great. I’m going to come back and finish it. The platforming has a few little things that could be cleaned up but all in all very nice game!

I was not expecting to see doom and tetris mixed together but here we are…

I got say it works way better than I would have imagined.

The controls were a little tough for me but I had fun overall! I couldn’t quite figure out the mages but my archer micro was powerful.

Like the previous commenters I’m floored by the size of the world you made here. It gave me a lot of charming metroidvania vibes. I honestly could not figure out where to get the water gun but I bought some turrets and made myself a little fort.

Fun arcade-y vibe! The flying enemies are rough. It seems like the next character you become is random? If so I wonder what would happen if the order was fixed. I also liked that the characters had unique physical sizes (i.e purple guy won’t fit through the second layer of the level so he’s not op)

haha we might find out

Thanks! I took a lot of swings with the jokes glad I got some hits

Game looks and feels great! I wish I understood how exactly to pick up more parts though (oh it looks like I might have had to die first)!

Cute game! Too me a little while to figure out the screen wraps but it does a good job of teaching you most of the mechanics.

This is super polished and clever! I’m gonna come back and clear more levels tonight!

Okay I’m shockingly bad at counting but this game is actually very polished and scoped well!

Cool and tough (though that might partially be because I’m on a track pad)! Some of the jumps were quite interesting. Liked the low key music as well!

The intro cinematic is really cute and I like the voice acting. Unfortunately the game stops working right around when they say “take this it will turn them into normal mode”. Chrome (version 116.0.5845.179) throws the error “Webgl Context Lost”. I’m on an M1 Macbook Pro with OS Version 13.5.2 if that helps!

It’s possible providing downloading builds will be easier I think godot4 web is a little janky.

Incredible

This is very cute! I didn't fully understand how I opened the door but I was able to open it. The graphics and sound are wonderful.

This is great! I got most of my descendants shot, luckily I have a large family.

Cute! The graphics and music rocked. My best strategy was to stand on the shortest path between me and the exit and then alert the people so they ran to me

Neat! I liked the ending sequence. I'm a little salty my helicopter was hit by the quakes in the air (I guess those are blasts) but good mood! Very impressive in a week.

I got 13!

Oh that makes sense! Since you are going backward through the levels when you hit the "goal" you go forward one level because you "win".

neat! I wish matching up the arrows was a requirement not just a score booster

I won on normal! Tough!

Intriguing story, I crumpled from stress unfortunately!

haha the boss fight was quite something. I wish you could speed up / skip dialogue but neat bare bones platformer!

Interesting game. Although this is not explicitly stated I assume the gimmick here is that the "good" green boxes are to be avoided and you either want to kill yourself by throwing yourself off a ledge or into the "bad" red blocks. I got to level 5 but then it got too hard for me. Also when you fail a level you go back to the previous level, not sure if this is intentional.

Overall reminds me of the Karoshi Series

okay I laughed pretty hard when the cat just shot off with my pizza. Creative mechanic!

Woah I get the scare is pretty intense but there's no need for that kind of sentiment in the comments

that one yoink got me good

My bad, add it in!

Hey everyone! I built this combination of a stealth game / board game for two players. It's somewhat of a mashup of chess and battleship.
You can play it here: https://agameortwo.itch.io/pounce
