Overall cute game and good job on accomplishing the theme and focus. Platformers in 3D are a hard thing to accomplish and you did so much in a week - it's impressive! I like the plane, that was a nice addition.
My Suggestions:
- When I went to the controls and then clicked to go back to the menu the game crashed, so that might be a bug or I accidentally broke it!
- Make some kind of check point.
- Maybe add a mini map so you can keep track of rooms as you go through them.
All in all great work. Congrats on completing this in time for the jam!
I appreciate the feedback! Also thanks for telling me about the crashing bug. I'll look into the issue.
I don't know if it's me or movement mechanics are odd? I had a difficult time jumping on those platforms and it seems that this guy doesn't want to listen to me. :D
Anyway nice music and ideas. Keep it going.
I'll make sure to work on the mechanics if I continue developing this game. Thanks for playing!
Really like the feeling of height and aeroplane aspects of the game. I probably would get further in the game if there was a checkpoint as there was lots to explore. Really fun and unique collectibles.
If you did have a few minutes to check out my game too that would be much appreciated.
Thanks for playing! I'll be sure to check out your game.
I really liked your game!
I think that it would be better if the player would be able to control the camera using the mouse for more comfortable experience and if there was an arrow to the first level (it took me time to find it) ☺
Thanks for the feedback!
a very good game!loved the music! Good job!
It'll be nice if you check out our game too😁
The platforming felt very nice in this game. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the plane and it was fun to fly around! The cannon sounds are too loud though in my opinion and obfuscate the nice music. Great job!
Thanks!
Nice game! I enjoyed the music at the start and I directly wanted to discover more about the world.
I didn't finish the game, I had a game over at the first room with cannons. I didn't have the courage to restart sorry haha, I was all sweaty when going up, as any mistake may force me to restart from the bottom. I found it ok to control the character, but sometimes it's not clear where we land, but after some practice I found a way to gauge the jumps more or less.
I was curious about the end :).
Good job!
I appreciate all of the feedback! If I continue to work on the game I will try to make it more forgiving (maybe with some checkpoints). Thanks for playing :)
Yes and I was thinking being able to wall jump or jump once on the edge of a platform, because sometimes I landed stuck to the side of the platform and could not go up :). It would also help the character movements feeling more dynamic I think.
It seemed like it was pretty large considering this is a jam game, but still dope concept. The controls need some polish.
Thanks for the advice!
Sure thing, to specify, just the normal things like getting stuck to walls. The camera with your jumping arc need to work a little better together. Platformers are hard to tackle because players will either think “this is normal” or “this is bad” for the basic movement. but you’re pretty close
I stopped played as the camera was panning a bit too fast. It was frustrating when I missed the small platform by a bit and had to start all the way over. It was difficult to calculate the jump. Overall a good game.
Thank you for the feedback :)
hey i liked the idea but i think i was hard to move the character in the gameapart from that i had fun playing it
Thanks for playing!
