I have thought about it, I’m still thinking of ways to improve the movement as the current method has questionable performance implications and bugs(platform to platform snapping is a big one that broke during dev but I never fixed as overlapping surfaces are rare in the jam level generator)

The grappling system too has multiple points where it could be improved(for example, pivot grapple is looking real sad because of the pull being too strong)

I also have ideas for a constraint based level generator to replace the current template based one.

And of course the bats need one hell of a rework.

But yes, id like to expand further on this game with a proper full release eventually.

You could say this game is buggy

i will not apologize for my puns

I saw another similar entry and overall the execution here is much better. Could do with more flashy visuals tho

I like the general idea of fighting on two levels

The difficulty curve is bit weird though, you can mostly ignore everything and bumrush the mothership. Similarly, there doesn’t seem to be much reason to protect more than 1 generator?

Wow! The concept of fitting shapes in other shapes is nothing new (Talos principle comes to mind) but adding scaling is such a clever twist

Spooky

The basic concept of “match the incoming shape” is neat, could be even better if you had to pick between squares, triangles and circles

I like the game although the difficulty curve feels all kinds of wrong

Also I suffer from “doesn’t read text unless its in game” syndrome so I didn’t notice that the meteors going into the star were a bad thing until i was at half health

They stood no chance

Neat retro game

I appreciate the effort that went into rendering this(shaders are wew) but the gameplay boils down to 2 buttons and a slider

Game is very fun although i got stuck at ~8cm for a while because i didnt notice the tree had a healthbar

Lick/10

Love the lizard

Concept is cool but its lacking gameplay

Simple yet fun

Mobility is a bit too painful early game. Looks cute

The lizard be so goofy. Love the art!

licks eyeball mlem

(1 edit)

Despite being very simple, I like the art style. Not a massive fan of how slippery the movement was though
