Absolutely adorable! I love the idea of constantly rerolling dice as a game mechanic. Gives the player more control, while still being at the mercy of the RNGods!

Wow, this game is so simple, yet so chaotic. Quite wonderful!

What a fantastic idea for a game! I do feel like I have very little control over what's happening, but with some balancing, this could be really wonderful! Love the style!

Loved the concept! Very impressive looking GUi! I think the movement system could be changed a bit, but I understand that it's also subject to the roll of the dice, making it hard to standardize. My first go around, I put a 6 into my movement speed (not a tactical decision as it turns out)

Makes me hungry...

Very fun, very cute! The designs, the execution, the concept is all very unique!

I absolutely love the way you show the dice rolling mixed with the sfx! Lovely game

Love the concept. Super fun use to RNG. Always love seeing the numbers before you decide what to do with em' GREAT JOB!

Particularly difficult to get a hang of, but once you do, oh boy is it fun. The combo system didn't feel very intuitive to me, but that may be because I don't play any games involving dice combos. I did eventually get into the rhythm however, and it was absolutely worth the time and effort. Some systems still allude me, like the number list for each ally.

Thankyu!

Thank you so much! I'm definitely going to be expanding on the concept further once the rating period is over :) Think, long levels, worlds, powerups, etc.

Yeah haha! The cops were always kind of meant to end the game, but the catch is, there were supposed to be actual platforming levels. So there was a reason to have to jump, and if you played well, you could get through the level without alerting the cops in the first place. As it is now, it's more of an arcade high score kind of scenario, so you inevitably end up jumping a bunch and summoning the cops for little reason, ending the game.

Short and sweet! Pretty rare to see a fully complete game coming out of a Jam. I enjoyed it :

Almost feels nostalgic. There's something very comforting about this game aesthetically, like a fireplace on a snowday. Fun mechanics and strategy!

Very fun concept! Love the art and music. I think this could be really fun if you balanced the RNG to feel less hopeless. I like how chaotic it is, but I rolled a 6 on my second round before I even got to buy an item.

The best kind of awful

Very cute, lovely music. Didn't run too well on my computer, and a tad loud.

Very unique idea! Haven't seen anything like this

Super fun, roguelike

This is my favorite submission so far! The style is super cute and charming, which is made all the more impressive with the 2 bit color palette! The gameplay is super fun, and I can totally imagine myself playing it on a school desktop in highschool! I'll definitely be playing it in my free time after I've finished rating more games. Really really great job!

Very interesting art! Most of my issues come down to what seem like bugs, so I won't really go into depth on my gripes. Fun idea, could really be something.

I really really like this game! Super concept! Once the rating period is over, you should add some sound effects and more weapon types, and this will be a really solid game! I do think that using the knife leads to a lot of collisions that feel unfair.

Very interesting gameplay! Graphics are very fun, and the concept feels super new. With some polishing, a few more features, and a Ui, I wouldn't bat an eye at this game being sold for a few bucks.

I really liked this! The graphics are very chaotic, I love it! Especially the cover photo!

Very interesting style! I wish there was more of an opportunity for progression or some sort of sound or effect to show that you're damaging the bosses.

Thank you!

I'm glad you liked it! Well, you can probably tell that Outdream has been left very much unfinished. While many choices are accounted for, I've never had the opportunity to complete any story branches for those choices and I've since moved on from Outdream onto other projects. Who knows, maybe one day I'll flesh out and expand the storyline! I really appreciate you checking out the game and seeing it through!

Thank you for checking out the game! A big goal by the end is completely overhauling the ambiance and other auditory stuffs!
