I loved the visuals! Also, great book recommandation, but I believe the book is only called "Der Astronaut" in German, it's actual name is "Project Hail Mary" :D

I really enjoyed this!

Very cute. I only had a bit of a problem with reading the text because of the font. It's nice for headlines and such but maybe something more readable for the longer text would be better.

I did look really promising but the controls are too frustrating for me. I found myself turning the camera at the beginning of every level so it would correspond with the direction of the movement. This connected to the fact that you die very easily and quickly, meant I had to turn the camera constantly after every death. Very frustrating.

What in the anime-vapor-wave-fever-dream-memory-game is this??

What a great concept! And it looks pretty too :D

First I didn't understand what you had to do, then I thought I did but I died so nevermind.

Amazing! Really cool and fun!!

I think aiming with the mouse would have been way more fun. It was hard to really accurately judge the route of your bullets.

I can't play it. My mouse keeps freaking out when I open it.

lol

Cute game, sadly it crashed after two levels :(

Super cool athmosphere! Only wished the guards had a distinct colour so they wouldn't blend into the background so much.

Great game and really fun. I noticed that the kill counter gets stuck at 099 even tough there's space for a three digit number.

You can get your ball back by pointing the attracting side downwards, brilliant!

aww man this looks so good :(

I would have expected to heal while you're on the ground, because like this you're basically just trying to kill yourself to reach the highest score.

Fun game, love the pico-8 aesthetic. After one of your atoms die you still have to wait out the countdown, I'm not sure why.

Fun idea and gameplay. I'm not sure if you even need an extra button to pick the other ships up, just flying over them would have been easier. Also the controls just don't work sometimes.

I'm not sure if it fits the theme...

Very interesting system. It took some time to understand the controls and what each colour does (like that you had to hold down the mouse and not just press once for the shield to activate.

My favourite game as of yet! Fun concept and fun puzzles. A reset button would have been good, though. I got trapped at the no Platform. level and couldn't do anything D:

I love the sound effects lol. I think it's weird for the character to shrink/stay the same size, it's much more satisfying for the player to see them progress and their character grow bigger and bigger!

Really interesting concept!  Maybe enemys should only atack one at a time, because on my second try every enemy shot at me at once and I died instantly after 0 seconds.

Nice art. Sadly the different colours of the platforms weren't really visible and the controls were very slippery.

Good concept and levels. I think the expert levels would have worked better without the timer and maybe other restrictions on movement instead, since the game wasn't about speed but solving puzzels.

I put on the flag in the second level but nothing happened :(

Fun idea. It was a bit hard to dogde bombs since they sometimes spawned offscrene or right in front of you.

I had a hard time understanding the puzzels and didn't get very far, but very original idea and neat graphics.

Very clean and nice look. The addition of physics is ... interesting. Makes the game quite unplayable for me personally but I realize that's were the originality comes from. Walls would have been nice, though.

This was great! Cute, calming, and good puzzles!

Very nice art and concept. I didn't understand if there was any objective for the player. That was kind of missing.

This was really fun and addictive! Good work!

Haha don't worry, I still acknowledged the overall quality of the game so you got a good rating. And I'm excited to hear you're planning on continuing this project, it for sure has a lot of potential!

Ah yes, I managed to get out of control haha. Good game :D

Reminds me of VVVVVV, but the lack of checkpoints makes it more frustrating than fun. What's the point of speedrun mechanics if I can't even beat it? A checkpoint at maybe level 5 would have cut down the frustration a lot.

I'm sorry, my initial enthusiasm was just completely wrecked by this games difficulty. I guess the difficulty is intentional though so maybe it's just not for me. Still, I see a lot of potential here and it's overall a very well crafted and polished platformer. I'm just sad I'm too much of a noob to enjoy it :(

Nice lil game. I too was a bit confused during the cutscene until I figured out you had to press x. Simple mechanics and a rising difficulty (the last level was pretty tough), great job! The respawn time was maybe a bit too quick, I often died because I was still holding the buttons.

Love the graphics and the colours! I think a highscore system would've been great but it's still a lot of fun. I don't know if it's intentional but when you're standing right next to a platform and are pressing jump multiple times you get catapulted into the air, it's kinda fun but it also seems to mess up the camera a bit.

I like the concept but I really don't have any idea what's going on. I don't know if one of the characters has died or if I have won and sometimes multiple characters are standing in the same spot and I really just don't know what's happening haha

I can't figure out how to move :(
