Super interesting idea! It was pretty hard to move around, but once you were doing so, it was really cool and satisfying, good job!
Holy cow does it feel satisfying to punch those pesky knights! The blood effect, the sounds, and everything... Just top-notch! The controls take a while to get used to, but otherwise, extraordinary game!
Excellent game, the only complaint I have is that I wish there was a mode to have the arms controlled by the arrow keys and the movement by WASD, as I think that would be more natural. Otherwise excellent game (and super impressive in such a short time!)
Great game and really fun. I noticed that the kill counter gets stuck at 099 even tough there's space for a three digit number.
Woah, nice job on getting that many kills! And yeah about the counter, sadly I only noticed that bug after the submission period was over. But I'll work on it after we can update it again. Thanks for playing!
Great game. The controls took a while to learn, but once I did I had a lot of fun because of the things they allow you to do. The graphics also look good and the UI looks very polished.
I had a bug where my left fist sometimes became invisible, which was unfortunate, but didnÖt hinder my playing very much.
Great job :)
Very creative take on the thme, It took me a bit to realize how to move, but once I got it, all I can say is that it's really freaking AWESOME !
Fun and Original idea! Enjoyed it! Great job!
The controls are a bit clunky and take some getting used to but once you get used to them the game is very fun and challenging .
Its a cool concept, but you should look more at controlling the machine, when some moments the fists can be gone and is hard to click on.
Nice game!! I think it was a great idea. The presentation was clean also. Sometimes there were some bugs (couldnt move the body or the fists didnt kill) but I think there are inevitable in jam games. Main critic for the design is that having to move the mouse to each fist was kind of uncomfortable, more so considering that each click also moves the fists. Maybe have some controls in the screen that are fixed and represent the four directions? or controlling the fists with wasd and the movement with arrow keys? Idk, just thinking. Great game overall!!
Yep! Controls definitely need some improvement, and I'll be working on those first for the next update. Thanks for the feedback :D
The idea is good, I still think the controls were a bit difficult, I think that if only the keyboard was used it would look great, in general great game :D
Thanks for playing!
As others have pointed out already the controls are quite unpleasant but I still had a lot of fun with this game. It was very satisfying to smack em in the face :D
Nice game. The movement is interesting, although I think the hit boxes for the feet could be a bit bigger, so its a easer to click. Once I totally understood how to move and was quiet secure on how to move, the game lacked a bit of progression. At some point I was just unstoppable. Killing the Knigths felt very juicy, literally :D A a bit more impact with screenshake and its awesome.
A suggestion for the movement pattern: what if you extend your arms with WASD and then move the monster-bot with mouse drag and drop. Or vice versa: Drag and dropthe arms like ropes instead of clicking them and then move your machine with WASD. Maybe this kind of movement would feeld a bit more natural
creative concept, using arrow keys instead of mouse would make it more playable, but its very nice!
Thanks! I'll be updating this to use arrow keys once the review period is over :D
Hey nice entry! I particularly like the squish sound when thieving knights are crushed haha. I think this might work at a slower pace more like a turn based puzzle-y game? Since it gets quite hard to manage all the arms. Or maybe you could extend the arms with arrow keys rather than mouse click because I found myself clicking around wildly trying to extend them really far as that gave the most mobility :D Cheers!
Thanks for playing and the feedback! I'll definitely take this into account when I update it!
hey that's an interesting idea, just work a little in how u explain the game and we're good :d
Thanks for playing, and agreed! I sadly ran out of time for a proper tutorial, but I'll definitely work on one for after the review period :D
Hi! I found this game idea really original and the presentation was great! 5 Minutes in and my feeble brain still could not register how best to move i started spamming keys XD. Thanks for this entry! Enjoyed myself loads! :)
Thanks for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
