Thank you for this very good translation. I like the personal and casual tone of the whole text. Also, I think it was a great idea to introduce "Fertigkeiten" as a translation for "approach", as this term is also used in Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder RPG (although they are "skills" in these game systems). It made me feel a bit home - so thank you for that. :)

Unfortunately, your text is formulated in generic masculine, so that female and non-binary people might not feel well addressed. But apart from that, this translation is my second favourite of the German entries.

Also positive: correct grammar and spelling. =)

I had expected another tab in the project overview, dipslaying the ratings/voting result. But I couldn't find any. What's the schedule in this regards? How and where can we see the results of the rating?

Danke euch. :) Ja, Gendern fing mit (Klammern) an, doch wurde auf * und später auf : ausgeweitet. Welches Zeichen man nun nimmt, ist, glaube ich sekundär. Ich finde allerdings, dass es sich mit Doppelpunkt ein bisschen besser lesen lässt, als mit Sternchen. Was denkt ihr?

Thanks to the three of you. This is a decent and good translation. Similar to Marcel's translations, I missed the translation of some terms, such as the title of the game, the word "tabletop", gamemaster and the pop culture stories. Sadly, the translation is completely written in generic masculine and is not addressed to non male players. Although I spotted a few comma mistakes and incorrect capitalisation, I didn't find a single typo. That's a big feat (or stunt), well done, guys! :)

It's a shame there are still typos. If you work alone, you become partly blind for your own mistakes.^^'

Hi Maureen and Alex, thank you very much for your translation. I really liked, how casual and enthusiastic it is. So far my favourite translation of those I have read. I wished, you would have used the careful aspect more often: Missing spaces, when dashes are used. Missing words, few grammar mistakes and typos, sometimes even inconsistent form of address within one paragraph. Those overshadow your brilliant translation BUT can easily be fixed.

I also liked your gender neutral approach. It wasn't consistent, but I still appreciate it! :)

What I also liked are some of your transcreations, such as "Karten legen" or the examples in the high concept section. And the direct links for further information are smart. I wished I had done that, too.^^

Thanks you two. This is a decent and good translation of the game. Especially at the beginning, some translations were a bit off/strange for me, but that was only a rare occasion. 

I liked the fact that you considered gender-neutral language to also address non-males with the text. Although at times I am missing that non-binaries are addressed, too, I overall liked your approach in this regards (e.g. "Spielende", "Gegenüber")

A bit disrupting for me was the repetition of grammar mistakes, mostly related to punctuation and/or hyphens, sometimes also capitalisation. I liked however that there was only 1 typo, I think. :)

Thanks Marcel. This is a decent and good translation of the game. Sometimes, it felt a bit too literal and I hoped for (more) transcreations.

I liked that the amount of typos is very little. I think, an automated spell checker would have caught them. 

It is a matter of taste, but in my opinion I am not a big fan of leaving certain terms unlocalised if an easy translation is at hand (e.g. High Concept, the pop culture references, the game title or fate dice/deck of fate).

Last but not least (also matter of taste/conviction): the use of the generic masculine in this translation can cause players with different gender than male to not feel well addressed. The table top RPG scene is dominated by male players.  And it might stay like that when game manuals don't address the text also to females or non-binaries.

Hi there. I wonder what was the biggest or most interesting challenge for your when localising Adventures from Another World into your language (or in general)?

I found the "approaches" tricky and I have seen quite some variantion when comparing the German translations.

And what about "trouble"? It can cause trouble but is also some kind of weakness, too.

How did you tackle the "time jump", when the Fate Dice and the Deck of Fate are mentioned, purchasable on www.evilhat.com? Did you keep the years 2013/2014 in it? And have you kept the "future" tense in "The Deck of Fate will be available from Evil Hat in 2013 or 2014"?

I am curious about your ideas.

I wonder whether everybody, who is willing to vote in the contest is required to create an itch.io account or use a GitHub-account?  Is there any possibility to vote without those accounts?
