Congrats as well on your excellent ratings! It's deserved.

Congrats on such high ratings! Yours was featured on the end-of-jam video, just wanted to let you know if you didn't see it. Great job again

Kindman your game was being played on the end-of-jam video, I hope you get/got a chance to check it out!!

How cool is that?! We tied for a really high spot in the Story category! Congrats!

Dude they played it on the post-jam roundup video gotta go check it out!!

What is really funny about that - I HAD that exact mechanism in mind, a notepad that would be written to each time a clue was solved. Unfortunately, it was one of the small things that missed the cut due to time constraints. But in a perfect world that would be included, I agree. Thank you for taking the time to play and review!

Argh that thing scared the crap out of me hahaha! I was thinking something fun would be in the bedroom and then I get terrified! Good work!!

Thank you for the feedback. It's tricky to get the difficulty balance just right. I won't spoil the kitchen scene but I will say this... there are a couple different ways one might arrive at the clue... it's not universal to all the rooms/photos but in this instance... look at what might be present in a certain quantity in the photo, then one fewer in the current state of the room and its "background".

I sat here for the better part of an hour. Still two short haha. Very fun concept and I enjoyed some of the humorous combinations!

Nice work!! I've made a wall climber in the past and it's not nearly as simple as one might think so kudos. I did see a couple of issues with the wall collider, but nothing fatal/irrecoverable. Could be the experience I had with mine. Anyway, nice expansive and vexing maze, a good challenge!

Really really fun. I enjoyed the heck out of that. Love that you included waypoints, because it was difficult enough that if that hadn't been a feature, I probably don't play it out to the end. Great work!!

I love the concept and reference. The live cat was super fast haha which made it fun, and occasionally frustrating. But that makes you feel more accomplished when you finish. Well done!

That's a cute game! It does make you think a little bit and throws you off sometimes. Clever mechanic, which I imagine was relatively simple to implement, saving time. I'd love to see a few additional levels!

Ahh this is fun and it reminds me of kind of a 2D Marble Madness. Ooh but it can get frustrating when you get mad at yourself for not being able to hit the jumps or stop yourself in time to not fall off a ledge. But that's a hallmark of good gameplay! Well done on this one!

It was fun and nice controls, I like the concept. I only wish there would have been a few more levels or areas. But overall, well done!

I really appreciate that feedback. You pointed out one minor flaw that I ran out of time on but yeah I agree with your assessment - I did the exact same thing a couple times in playtesting haha. I am going to be doing something very similar to this that will involve multiple adventures so it's really nice to hear that it may be a viable effort. Thank you for playing!

That is a really good way to handle a heavy topic and message without making it too dark or disturbing. I really very much enjoyed the way the control felt, and pulled off some maneuvers that I didn't expect to succeed. The final battle - if I'm not mistaken that boss has the same upgrades, which is a great touch! Excellent work!

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the intro, that's the type of thing that makes it worth the effort. And knowing is half the battle so I'm glad you took something from my admittedly-optional credit sequence :D

Many many thanks! I was hoping to provide that kind of experience.

Thank you!! I may incorporate that idea into a future quasi-iteration of this game mechanic, that I'll be using for a different project. It's a good idea.

Thank you for the feedback! It's interesting, had in-person game testers telling me that the cutscenes & text seemed a bit fast, though I read quickly so to me it seemed slow, and I was on the fence lol.

I really liked it! Creepy, tense. I got 3, not sure if that's all of them but I can't get the TV to blink for anything else as far as I can tell. Excellent work!

Very funny, great concept. Was challenging to get 3 customers in one day, but I got it a few times. Would love to see this expanded on a bit!

It's a good start. The battle interface is set up well visually. I couldn't tell if there is randomness to your attack, i.e. you're meant to possibly miss even if your aim is perfect, or if the aim/hit mechanism needs a little tweaking. But I like what you've done so far and would be interested to see where it goes from here.

A very cool adventure and challenge! Neat use of 2D vs 3D, I love the story, the game operates smoothly, and I love that multiple levels were made in this timeframe! Congrats, you did awesome!

I really enjoy this game, and its got a great vibe. I did get caught a couple times in situations where I had to restart (fell thru a hole, died facing the bodybuilder-looking guy) but overall this is a great submission! The art is especially enjoyable!

This. Is. ADDICTING lol. And you had to go and add a high score board. Dangit haha. For real though, very very simple yet elegant work! It's really admirable!!

Oh gosh this is really well done!! Clever take on the concept, I thiiiink I see how you pulled it off, and it's brilliant. One of my favorites!

Ahh that was cute and it's fun and challenging too - that 3rd level was soo dang hard and frustrating and I never quite was able to just get my brain on cruise control which is what I imagine is necessary to win. Very very good work here!

Haha the first person perspective reminds me of an old Intellivision game from way back in the day in a way. Those who have played it know which one. The AI really was tough but I was finally able to make it as far as possible. Good work!

Excellent use of public domain media to accomplish a fun game! Far more immersive and expansive than I expected.

Such a chill game. I love the feature that you don't die, but you are forced to reckon with the other dimension (in theory, if you don't just drop intentionally) before re-trying the first one. Well done!

It feels like the beginning of a neat little Pitfall for animals. The background I like a lot, meaning both the back story AND the cool visuals in the distance.

Argh if only the jump button worked consistently... this seems like a really fun platformer and I always LOVE having a jump-dash in the controls. I'd be interested to see further developments down the line!

Love the concept. I felt really silly like "how do you switch dimensions" when it was as simple as moving in that direction lol. Well done! I like the graphics and the message.

That was creepy! That creature was quite frightening. And I thought I had him with the flashlight but noooooo lol. Nicely done.

I like that concept!! I'm a fan of medicine and microbiology type stuff so this was fun to play. It'd be interesting to see an expanded version with different microbes that offer different challenges!

That's an interesting perspective flip mechanism! I would be interested to see an expanded take on this game! The views flipped quite smoothly imho.

Smooth movement and attack animation, controls felt like they'd be really easy once it's finished out. I'd be interested to see where it goes from here!

Wonderful submission!! Gosh this reminded me of many cool puzzle type games on NES - it would have fit right in! Well done finishing it within the game jam timeframe and kudos on the polish - really like the touch of having the narration between levels.
