That's an interesting perspective flip mechanism! I would be interested to see an expanded take on this game! The views flipped quite smoothly imho.

Really cool how you can swap views. Nice game!

I like the sci-fi feel, but it took me awhile to understand what I was supposed to do. I like the switching in between the 2D and 2D I just did not understand how to survive in 3D lol. But I like the concept and the feel

Neat concept, I like the modern->retro music change when switching dimensions! My only comments are that the tank can shoot so fast that it trivializes dealing with enemies.

I thought this was really well done :). I messed up a couple times by switching to the wrong dimension at the wrong times and the cooldown really messed me up. But it was fun :)

Cool idea. I really like the arcade feel to this game. As with other comments below I also enjoyed the 2D world more than the 3D one. However, it was still fun switching back and forth between them.

It took me a little bit to get used to switching between W and S to set the turret pitch in the 3D world and then A and D in the 3D world. This was minor though and once I got accustomed to I it was not a problem. Great submission!!!

FYI I also only played the downloadable version

I definitely liked playing in 2D more than 3D and wish it were a little faster paced. Changing the keys that raised and lowered the gun when in 2D vs 3D was unexpected and a bit annoying. It locked up on me a few time, too, but that could be just a WebGL thing. I like being able to spray bullets!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and the feedback.I must admit on a through play throughs it got annoying, the fixed position gun worked much better in 2D. The changing keys originally came out of finding using left an right for up and down in 2d weird. This is why its always good to have other people test your game.

Hey we had pretty similar concepts! Cool!

Pretty fun! It could turn out to be a pretty good mobile game.

I got stuck below the ground while in 3D mode once, but it's a Jam, that's fine :)

Developer

I'm glad you liked the game. I always find odd bugs appear when games go into WebGL, but bug finding is always a learning experience.

Although the theme implementation is great, the sound feedback good and the environment kinda nice? to look at, gameplay is kinda meh :/ . But game design wise you did great!!!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and playing the game, and to be fair I agree about the gameplay, I really need to start playtesting my games more. The environments were thrown together in blender and need work, I will hopefully get some bug fixes and up grades to the visuals done over the next week while trying to play as many games as I can.
