Great score! We had discussed having the headstart timer get shorter as the levels went on, honestly I might have just forgot to code it. For the name; our previous Jam entries all had alliterative names, and we couldn't really come up with a snappy one for this project. But a monkey and grapes were both featured in our previous Wild Jam game, so we threw them in as a little reference I guess. Their sprites appear on the end screen. Thanks for playing!

Really solid core mechanics. My favorite were the multi-bounce power ups.
This is my personal favorite submission so far. Nice work!

Very good implementation of the theme and a solid core gameplay loop.

Thanks for your comment! The beanstalks are intended to be permanent after they appear the first time. Was it still stuck after you tried moving the Beanstalk verse to a different book?

Took me a little bit to figure out what I was doing, but there's some good game balance here already and lots of strategies to try. Would definitely play a fleshed out version of this on mobile or something. Nice work :)

There's so much to like about this game. The characters and level convey so much personality. Shout out to the little bugs dancing in the foreground. The combat is a little basic, but the boss fight was actually very fun and well balanced. Awesome little game.

Very fun gameplay loop. I bet this would feel really good on controller. Nice work!

Very well put together. I really liked the feature of being able to dynamically switch levels to look for the right creatures. And the photo taking mechanic is really cool!

Awesome, I like the diorama and collage style graphics a lot. The music and forest sounds set a nice mood. Would like to see more of this graphical style!
