Thanks for the feedback! Definitely some things I can try and balance with any future updates.

thanks so much!

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Now I get what they were talking about when they mentioned AAAA gameplay! They just weren't talking about the right game!

This is seriously awesome. I enjoyed this one a lot! The ship movement was a lot better than I expected it'd be when I read the controls. Getting used to remembering which direction I was firing from took a minute, but once it started to click I felt like Davey Jones himself.

Awesome job!

I know! And here I was thinking I had a super original idea. Oh well.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! The jumping timing, and really movement as a whole, definitely needs some fine tuning.

Thanks for playing!

Here’s mine! I’ll give yours a shot soon as well!

Thanks so much!

Dang, this already feels like a full game! I'm seriously amazed you were able to crank this out in 10 days! I don't know if those animations were a part of your existing assets or not, but those were super smooth! Awesome job!

I really liked that the currency is also your health. Very neat idea, but definitely makes balancing the game and the difficulty curve very tricky. I really wanted to unlock the other troops, but I kept dying while the unlock cool down was going, since I couldn't spawn many new defenders!

Overall an absolutely fantastic job! I hope you keep working on this one!

Thanks so much!

This absolutely rocks! I'm really impressed you were able to make all this in just 10 days!

The controls felt real good, and the art looked incredible. I really liked the variety in enemies as well. I kept getting some weird issue though where it would start freaking out after about a minute into each round, and I'd lose control of the game, so I didn't get to see too much after that point. But I think that was probably more something on my end than the actual games fault.

Overall, a really great game! I feel like this could easily become a full fledged game released on steam! Definitely a solid base to continue building off of.

Great job to the both of you!

Thanks so much!

Wow, this was my first visual novel game! And it was pretty neat!

As just about everybody has said, the art and atmosphere of this game was great! Really good job on enforcing the feel of the game!

Awesome job, very well done!

Very cool idea! I definitely got to the point where I was watching the other competitor more than the obstacles, and just moving right after they would.

Great job overall! Really liked it!

This is awesome!

I don't have anything else to add that everybody else hasn't already said. The music fit great, the particle effects were really nice, the color and atmosphere of the game looked perfect (especially the gradient on the text), the actual story within the game was very cool and a unique idea!

Fantastic job! I hope you're happy with what you made, because it rules!

This was pretty cool!

At first I was a little intimidated by the quick math needed to break down the bigger numbers, but then I realized the colors of the tentacles were directly related to the prime numbers needed! Very nice little additional feedback there!

Great job!

This was very neat! Took me a few tries to get the timing down for dodging the lunges, but I finally started to get the feel for it.

Great job!

This is really fun! Highest score I got was 3075. Ended up having to camp by one of the ammo points, but they still overwhelmed me! Those other Stands move fast!

Very cool take on the theme. The moving and shooting felt very good, and the environment you're playing in is just the right size.

Great job overall! Very well done!

This is fun! Took me a few minutes to get comfortable with the steering, but that handbrake was a beautiful addition. Nothing felt better than flipping around and blasting the aliens away while also backing into the crowd of customers.

Awesome job!

Nice game! Definitely worth continuing to work on, you've got a solid base to keep building upon.

Oh man, this is awesome! I was really excited to see a VR submission! I almost did one as well, but it's been a while since I've made a flat screen game so I decided to do that instead. But huge props to you for making one!

I really liked the game! Going from being an overseer to an on the ground troop was a very cool move. I especially like that you actually get to play as the ground troop, and not just watch from it's perspective. I do think a little bit more feedback to help tell if you're hitting the enemies or not would have been helpful. Something like a health bar, or a little cross hair "tick" or something.

But overall, this was awesome! I've been wanting to make a game like this, and you've inspired me to give it a shot! Incredibly well done!

So did I hahaha! But hey, great minds think alike, right?

Thanks so much!

Heck yeah, great job! That’s a solid score!

Thanks for the feedback as well! I really appreciate it!

I believe you. Turns out you’re actually playing as the villain in this game lol

(1 edit)

He really does. I knew the second I heard the Make Funk song I had to use it in the game. It was just too good!

Thanks for playing it as well! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much!

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree about the difficulty ramp up. I meant to make the first few patterns be on the easier side, but I think I got distracted working on something else and suddenly it was time to submit it!
Felt like too big a change to add after the fact.

Thanks for playing it though!

Hey, another bowling game! I thought I had found them all!

This was really cool! First one I played where you're playing as the bowling ball! The controls for moving the ball around were very loose, but I liked it! Felt like I was drifting around everywhere, throwing my weight around as a bowling ball. Nothing could stop me!

Great job all around! This is a great submission!

Hey, this is pretty neat!

This reminded me a lot of playing old online computer games back in school. I managed to collect 40 little cubes before accidentally bumping into a corn dog.

Very well done, and congrats on releasing a game!

Nice game!

Took me a second to realize the camera was tied to the mouse, but I got it figured out eventually! Had a great time spinning around, knocking everybody down.

Great job!

Nothing can stop the wall of archers!

Made it to wave 15 by spawning archers in the very back. Probably could have gone longer, but I got other games to play and review!

This was really good though! The art looked awesome, the UI was pretty solid, and the music and sound effects were very nice! I think with some variety in enemy types and polishing up some of the controls, this would be a really solid game! But I also love games like this, so I may be a bit biased.

Great job overall though! This is a great submission, and I hope you all are proud of what you made!

Dang, I tried a few times but I could never win. Furthest I got was having 3 chairs to sit in, but them dang computer characters kept beating me to the chairs!

This is very cool though! I really like the slight twist on the theme, in that you don't want to be the last standing. Very fun take.

Awesome job to the both of you for releasing a game! Very well done!

Oh man, this was hard! I wasn't able to beat it. I couldn't quite thread the needle on the part when it's open only in the middle, but not at the top or bottom.

But this rocks! This is really great for being your first self-made project! I really liked the fake out with the difficulty levels. I needed that easy mode lol!

Awesome job overall!

Congrats on submitting your game! This is dope!

This was a very cool submission, and a great base that you can continue building on!

Great job!

Awesome job!

As others have already said, the controls felt super smooth and intuitive. I really liked that the keyboard only controlled the movement, and not also the aiming direction.
I think a small improvement would be to have the camera "follow" the mouse/player, rather than stick right to it. Sometimes if I moved the mouse to the other end of the screen the camera kinda jumped a bit too fast, and that felt a bit jarring. But that wasn't enough to keep me from playing!

Great job, this is the perfect kind of game jam game! Well done!

Man, I don't even care that I didn't know what to do. Those ducks were cute as heck, and the little coin popping up animation was super clean! The pond with all the ducks floating around would make a nice screen saver by itself!

I'm interested to see where the game goes when you get more time to work on it! But congrats on even getting to release that! Great job!

Nice game! Reminded me a lot of my favorite Sumo mini-game from the game Fusion Frenzy for the original Xbox.

The little super hit power up was a nice touch as well! I felt a little weak without it, but whacking into the other balls with it felt great!

Great job!

Well the title doesn't lie, it sure is a nice and simple Tic Tac Toe!

The UI and design of it is very nice though! Feels like it could be thrown on a phone right now and it would fit right in with any other mobile game. I am curious how the opponent picks the spot it wants to play in, as it seemed to pass up obvious blocks a lot of the time. But it's also no fun playing against a perfect AI, especially for Tic Tac Toe.

Great job overall! You finished and released a project, which is one of the hardest steps to take! Well done!

Very cool idea!

This definitely feels like it could be a level/stage of a bigger game. You've got a really solid starting point now for launching off of!

The environment and the sound design was really good! The "bomb is getting hit" noise was very helpful and easy to notice, without being super annoying.

Great job!
