Very fun game. Enjoyed the music and concept.

Good game but i feel like the controls need improvement.

It's a very nice game, plays smoothly and it's a fun concept/theme, but even if you shoot prime numbers, you shouldn't need to literally press them. As an exmaple:
The game is in portrait mode which immediately reminds me of a mobile game, right? But on a mobile you yould tap on buttons that are most likely next to eachother. The same applies to PC, you can just use one finger and press one at a time, but if you are used to a keyboard you won't do that and 2, 3, 5 and 7 feels unnatural and also a bit uncomfortable.

This is a just a suggestion of course, and it's based on personal preference, but please consider giving it a try using for example the hotkeys 1234 or qwer as input keys.

Cheers, i hope this helps :)

Thank you for the feedback. I totally agreed with you. I didn't even try UI buttons for bullet choosing and that was a mistake. One that I plan on addressing on the game branch  after the Jam.

You're welcome, good luck! :D

Very Good Game with Prime Numbers.

Nice art and visual Feedback from where Enemies might be coming from.

It would be great if bosses were a bit slow, depending on the number they have. And also, this will be much more fun in Landscape mode too :)

Overall, it was a cool Game.

Thank you for the feedbakc. Choosing an aspect was really a thing for me. Not an easy choice. I was thinking about the mobile grasp. I hate playing mobile games in landscape mode. My phone sucks at grip in this mode. 😅

I loved this game!

I loved this game!

Thank you.

Wow this is an awesome game! I'm a math teacher so I might be a bit biased, but this was one of my favorites played in the jam. I loved thinking about the series of factors that would destroy the big numbers and when I got a really nice 3 to 4 factor combo off in a row it felt so satisfying. The music track was perfect for the atmosphere and intensity of the gameplay and visuals were lovely. I liked how each prime had its unique color glow.

Fantastic game!

Developer

Thank you so very much for your feedback. What would you change to improve this game? Keep checking the updates I'll make in the branch after the Game Jam. I plan on releasing this game on Google Play Store as a free with ads game for Android. I would love hearing the feedback from your students as well.

Great concept! The music was great and so were the visuals. Nicely done :D

Thank you.

Oh no, a math game! Actually not too hard, math-wise, although I had to think to figure out the prime factors for the larger numbers. (It's been a while since I was in school!) Simple mechanic with a nice twist that kept it fun, music was on point, I loved the little wagging jet trails behind the enemies. Very cool, great one-guy game.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. One of the goals of the game is lower the fear people have of math or capitalize from it... 🤣

I found the game a bit difficult, especially the bosses—they made my fingers like this, lol. Maybe slowing them down a bit could improve the experience.

Other than that, I liked the sound, music, and aesthetics of the game, and it was fun to play. I wanted to keep playing to get better, but I couldn't get very far. Good game overall!

Developer

Thanks for the 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 feedback.

I love the concept, but I suck at math so I didn't get very far. The music is awesome, the visuals are very nice as well.

Developer

Thank you  for the feedback.

Fun little game, and I got the concept quickly. Would be great to inject a bit of narrative into it. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for the feecback. Included "inject a bit of narrative" on my improvements checklist.

I don't think I can do much better than that, math is hard! :D

Very slick presentation! What was your inspiration for making a prime number based space shooter?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feeckback. I suck at my own game, and I am good with math... 🤣

I'm a telecommunications and programming professor at an university and fun games that add value to people is what got me learning game development. When the Game Jam was annouced I put together prime numbers, last stand, bible verses, 2d game in Google's Gemini AI and after some iterations the Tabirus Prime Time Prophecy was born.

Love the music!! Creative math idea, once I experienced the first boss I finally understood what the core game concept really was, and I like it!

Very nicely done! :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback.

This was a nice surprise! Cool gameloop, cool music, it's a good game, well done mate!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback.

Oh boi I didn't expect to do math I just want to play!

Developer

Math and play are one and the same... 😅

Submitted(+1)

That boss caught me off guardxd

Developer

As it should... 😅

Even I get surprised sometimes when replaying.

Pretty fun maths game and the music was a jam. Got to 13800 score.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. I think I'm really terrible at the game I developed... My highest score was 3500. 🤣

The sound really fits the game, but I missed the volume keys. The sound is too loud. Did you use "Audio mixer" in Unity? My first game jam had the same issue :-P.

The changing bullet controls are weird. I would expect 1 till 4. As mentioned below, even 1 key to toggle between the bullets would be even better. It would help if you can see which bullet is firering in the UI ;-)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. On the top left there is a UI showing which bullet is being fired. I used Unity's Audio Mixer, exposed volumes for three groups (master, BGM and SFX), but did not implement the Sliders on UI. After the Jam thats one of the already listed improvements.

nice game

but controls to change color/wep could be better.

if i could put one finger over one key would be best.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback.

Interesting game mechanic. I got destroyed by 42, can't say that about most games. Music fit well

Developer

Thank you.
