I have no VR hardware, but props to you for doing something risky/challenging and making it work! It sounds like people are having a really good time with this one =)

Quest 1 owner here (Tried with ALVR + Steam VR), holy moly this game is absolutely INCREDIBLE! At first I thought it was just a tower defense game in VR (which is still awesome btw), and then you can turn into the ground unit?! AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIRE YOUR OWN WEAPON?! HOLY MOLY Genius concept! I genuinely think with a ton more polish, more maps, maybe better iron sights/laser for easier aiming it could be a hit! PLEASE Develop this further! Would love to see more of this!!

Thank you! I will certainly work on this game further. And thank you for the feedback, I will take that into account for future updates.

Oh man, this is awesome! I was really excited to see a VR submission! I almost did one as well, but it's been a while since I've made a flat screen game so I decided to do that instead. But huge props to you for making one!

I really liked the game! Going from being an overseer to an on the ground troop was a very cool move. I especially like that you actually get to play as the ground troop, and not just watch from it's perspective. I do think a little bit more feedback to help tell if you're hitting the enemies or not would have been helpful. Something like a health bar, or a little cross hair "tick" or something.

But overall, this was awesome! I've been wanting to make a game like this, and you've inspired me to give it a shot! Incredibly well done!

I am happy to hear you liked the game and thank you for the feedback, it will really help me improve my fture games. I honestly didn't excpect to hear such positive reaction to my game. So thank you, you really made my day (:

I like how you switch from looking at the board to being on the landscape.
Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to use any of the other players (just the one on already on the ground) or the buildings...

Developer

Thank you for checking out the game and thanks for the feedback.

I always love seeing other people making VR games but am always hesitant to do so myself for game jams since I know a lot of people won't be able to or put in the effort to play them. Keep up the good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, this is my first game jam, so I didn't know how many people submit their game. But now I know and I get why not everyone wants to download submitted games, becauese there are just way to many and it takes long to install them. Regardless of that the game is doing pretty well and i'm very thankfull for that (:

I give it a try, my setup is using a quest 3 with virtual desktop and steam on PCVR. It worked flawless. About the game, it really a good concept, the change from the “table-top” view to first person view is a very good addition. Also very good voice acting. Please continue, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it and also thank you for the feedback that helps a lot

Too bad my VR headset is broken :( Looks like it's a fun concept!

Developer(+1)

I'm sorry about your headset, but I'm glad you like the concept and thank you for checking out the game anyway!

Wish I could play even without the VR experience. Looks like a fun tower defense game.

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I had a non vr version set up, but it had a lot of bugs in it, so I decided to just post the vr version
