"Great game, very good idea for the mechanics and it fits perfectly with the theme. I reached level 8 and keep losing, the difficulty curve is well balanced. I liked it a lot, congratulations!
Thanks very much for playing and rating, very much appreciated - right upto the last minute :D
It seemed like there was a flaw in the design of the game but you obviously anticipated and forced the player to learn new strategies as it progresses. The presentation is really good and the gameplay has a nice difficulty curve. GG
thanks for playing and the feedback, much appreciated!
I feel like that one bird 'Man I am bad at math'. got squished so much
haha, dont let it bother you - just use the wait-o-meter (cheat/hint) - no one will judge you (except the hardcore winners ofc :D). Thanks
Nice submission! It's polished with simple mechanics done well. Frustrating (in a good way) and pretty addictive (I had to finish it). For most of the game I fooled myself into thinking I should base my clicks off of the NPC, but actually you should use the markers on the background!
Great work!
Thanks very much for the positive feedback, and you're right to use the markers (added them about 30min before submission to give you something to aim off). Well done for completing it.
Cool game, I liked the idea of the cheat timer. I could see this being a lot of fun as a couch multiplayer game! 🎮
Yeah, I'm quite fond of the wait-o-meter - originally called it hint rather than cheat, probably should have stuck with that as lots of folk seem to avoid it which is a shame :D thanks for playing and rating
Great looking game that lulls you in to a false sense of secuity obn the first few levels when you can just hit space a fraction after the other player moves. As other have said it would be fun as a multi-player game if expanded in the future.
Thanks for playing and yes it could work as a multiplayer mini-game
https://gyazo.com/b95675ff786f3291e01cebd59c6ddf2e I've managed somehow to pull this off, made it without cheating through (using gyazo because i've been having issues when attaching images since yesterday).
Fun game, and I do have a suggestion: add a texture to the wall on the back, it'll make it easier to get a reference point in the levels were the object/wall falls down.
Cheers! ;)
Well done, and thanks for playing and absolutely spot on about the background - it's one of a couple of things that i just ran out of time with.
Never would i have thought of how to implement "chicken" in a game, but you did it. Incredibly creative mechanic deserving of 5*. I had a lot of fun with this. At first thinking that I just needed to start moving after the CPU did, but you've got that base covered and this strategy doesn't always work (nice work).
The concept itself is novel and entertaining enough that I can see this as a cool multiplayer game for mobile, to be played at parties! Well done!
Thanks very much, that's very generous feedback. I wasn't certain that the mechanic would work either or be fun (still not convinced about the latter :D). I think multiplayer would be fun as a mini-game, toyed with it but that would have been a stretch for me in the time. Thanks again.
Fun game, I finished without cheating :) Good job!
Well done indeed, hardcore winner :D
Fun game with a cool idea. Good job!
Thanks for playing!
Well done. Nice idea and good implementation.
Thanks!
It's a nice game. I could see making the game go on for a while with different power ups or making it a minigame of something else. I like the voice announcer, too.
Thanks and yes i think it fits more as a mini-game, or as a mechanic fitting into a wider game.
I love this idea! It's so fun and original. I also love the cheat meter lol. Great job!
haha, thanks for the feedback - glad you used the meter - it's only a handy hint after all :D
simple mechanics with a gameplay loop that is not super punishing when you fail. Great work!
Thanks!
Nice, chill game. Liked the simple controls. Looked clean. Good job.
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :D
really interesting concept! I enjoyed that!
Thanks, glad you like it :D
Hurray I'm a mongoose!
I refused to cheat and I did alright up until level 9. In that one instance I was constantly waiting too long to get through alive, even when I thought I'd gone too early. But when I eventually to the timing down to survive, it felt like the only actual way to win was for my opponent to get too greedy.
Correction you have the reactions of a mongoose - just in case your getting ideas about taking on Cobras etc. :D
Well done for playing without using the Wait-O-Meter - hardcore winner :D
Very cool idea! I definitely got to the point where I was watching the other competitor more than the obstacles, and just moving right after they would.
Great job overall! Really liked it!
Excellent, thanks for playing it, very much appreciated!
Nice and fun. A cool moment
excellent, thanks for playing!
I managed to complete it without cheats, you can imagine how much time it took. also I got reaction time of a mongoose, not exactly sure what that means.
Wow, that would take some perseverance on the Athlete levels, very well done (btw the cheat is more of a hint system). Anyway a Mongoose is a small, fast animal - its known to bait and take on Cobras with good reflexes to beat the snake..
