Thank you for playing! Yeah, that tends to happen from time to time.  I experimented with different approaches to the player and a wall colliding mid rotation, I didn't find a solution that felt better to play then to just let it be possible for the player to glitch through.  In the "after the rating is over" version I made it look intentional:

which along with a movement overhaul , does a much better job at presenting some of the more questionable "features".

Also, just realized you were actually really stuck in there huh :) Glad to hear you managed to make it through! Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you!

Overall pretty fun game. I think adding a charge (hold to charge up, more charge, more boost) to the explosion might be a good way to get a lot of mechanical depth.

Cool puzzles! Felt a bit odd to have the colors change between levels. The ending was very duolingo of you :)

Can I ask, which version did you play?

Incredibly impressive, and immersive. Great work!

Had to go through the source to make sure I didn't miss another song (secrets and all :) I would love to see  more songs that do more things. Good work overall!

I enjoyed the art style and atmosphere. I liked the ghosted messages form a  thousand years ago. The story was well thought out and it felt good piecing everything together. The character dialogue reactions are very well done. Good work!

That was a super fun detective experience. Using the repo in this way is really cool. Loved the leaderboard nicknames. This is by far the best theme interpretation, that I played so far. Awesome entry, great work!

Thank you for the input. I will wait for the pitchforks, before doing anything rash.

Hi! I would like to ask for a little clarification/judgement call on this:

"Q: Can I edit my game after submission?

A: You can fix critical bugs, but leave a note explaining the changes. Avoid altering the game during the voting period."

I have two web builds: one is the game itself as it was when the jam ended, the other is an expansion that has been done completely after the jam was over. I have packed them into a single playable html index, that i have currently on the game page, which requires you to choose which version you load. There are hopefully clear instructions( Literally says: "Jam Version, Rate this one") , to choose the jam build to rate and the other if you want to see extra levels. I also have a link to the jam packer  on the game page. Is it ok to have the extra content available, or should I take it down?

page in question for reference

Thank you for playing, I made a few extra levels if you want to check them out.

That walk animation is incredible! Thank you for leaning into the absurdity, it really paid off.

Cool game I had fun! A suggestion I have is to have a separate spot to click to move roses. That would’ve saved me a lot of accidental deaths.

A creeping, uncanny, unnerving sense that something is profoundly wrong, flows in every detail of this. I think it could benefit from having choice. I replayed it twice, just to make sure. Great work, scary stuff!

Really polished visuals, and engaging story. Great work!

I did, yes. It didn't do too much, to be honest. If you continue developing, I think the places where your focus would be best spent are:
- getting the ship movement feeling as smooth and controlled as possible.

- level timings, by this I mean that the optimal line through the level should be available. For example in the second blue level there is no way to get trough the first obstacle cycle without slowing down( at least I couldn't) and that felt bad. I restarted maybe 50 times, getting the line as clean as I could but the time window was off.

It reminds me a little of "mark of the ninja",  which is the highest praise I can give to any stealth game. I think it would be a lot better if it was a bit more forgiving in terms of gameplay ( jumps are not as tight to make, checkpoints, camera cones having a buffer zone where they won't detect you even if you are technically in their vision, that sort of thing). Awesome work overall!

Got really sucked into this one! The art style is charming and the music compliments the game beautifully. The movement is a bit clanky at times, and the zone from which you could interact with an object could be a bit bigger. In terms of atmosphere, you really did an incredible job!

Yeah I really liked the bounce!

Awesome game, great job! The space warp effect is amazing! Thanks for making cheats available without them I would not have been able to reach the end of the universe. I think that the ship's movement, especially when near walls could be much better it terms of feel. The red enemies that chase after you and you can drag into walls, is great game design. Finally I think the goal wormhole collision is way too small.
