This is actually what that one unknown game franchise is based on.

I like that this game takes my full attention just to play it. The long level took me forever to get through.

I enjoyed the game. I like your wind direction UI but I was confused with the tide direction.

Sorry to inform you this, but your beloved Chuck is deceased.

Whatever country that was just used up all of their money on ammo and is now on the verge of financial collapse.

I LOVE PIXEL ART! Your game is very impressive for how simple it is. I love these games where the roles switch and you get to create maximum carnage.

I like the game feel and the music. The chasing part was interesting because the human was so nimble.

Very well made. Your game is relaxing, polished, and I would love to play more of it. I am amazed that something like this was created in two days. Sadly, my laptop could not handle the graphics that well so the movement was slowed down, but I still enjoyed it.

The game mechanic is very fun and intense. It reminds me of a suspenseful and fast-paced version of Plants vs Zombies.

This is difficult but fun. I like the different levels of difficulty and the art style. The sound effects really top it all off.

I think this is a pretty cool take on the theme. It reminds me of Mario Maker and I love it.

That is a very creative game idea. I wish you had time to finish it.

That is pretty cool. I like the dash movement but I wish the dash aiming was not inverted because it makes it a lot more difficult to dodge attacks.

The art is really cool, but it needs a game loop or level system. I would love to see you use this art style to make a game in which you are the traps of a dungeon and you have to kill the monsters using the traps while trying to keep the adventurer safe.

I wish the game worked for me because I love everything about the design. You are definitely getting 5 stars for the presentation because the game feel is awesome. Sadly, the train is trying to follow the player but it is being forced to continue moving straight.

EDIT: If you don't mind, I would like to know where you got your characters from or what you used to make them.

I would increase the turn speed and slightly increase the gravity so it is not so floaty. Other than that, the game is very fun.

I should have done what you did and made sound effects using my voice. It would have saved me some time. Anyways, Thanks for playing!

I completely agree with you, I wanted to add obstacles so bad. Sadly, the time constraints got me. I want to add all of the stuff you said including entrances to secret levels and multi-ragdoll mode.

Thank you so much, I am wanting to add more levels to this game after the Jam ends, including more bouncy things.

I really wanted to add more speed but the multiple rigidbodys on the character did not agree and would either glitch into walls or explode. Thanks for playing though, I hope you enjoyed it.

I love that there are random anvils being dropped from the sky. I also think it would be funny if the letter just said, "a note in the wind" and that the lady was crying because she got a paper cut.

That was an intense game of trap the chicken between two cars.

I like that it reminds me of an old Nintendo game. Eating the hooks to stay alive is also a creative concept.

A very cool take on the theme. I like little arcade games like this.

I typically do not enjoy tower defense games, but this is a wonderful spin on the concept that I really like.

I like the little dialogue and the gameplay was great. I just wish I could turn off the doo doo doos in the background.

I like this game because it reminds me of Getting Over IT. The only thing I would change is the turn speed on the mop.

It's possible, I've beaten the first part many times, but I've only beaten hard mode twice. sorry for the difficulty though I only realized what I had done until it was too late. to make it easier just know that you must survive for 60 seconds. I wish I had added a timer, but I ran out of time (no pun intended).

I made this one very challenging. and sorry for the window on the far right. I've been told it is gruesome. Also, if you play hard mode make sure to try and move diagonally as much as possible. let me know if you beat hard mode. Please let me know of anything you didn't like. Rate Definitely Not Alone by Berserkagerk for Brackeys Game Jam 2022.2 - itch.io

I actually made the third window slower just for that reason, but I couldn't figure out how to zoom out the camera without the scene looking weird. I really appreciate the constructive criticism especially since this is my first Game Jam. The third window was just a stand-in for a mechanic I didn't finish. Anyways, thank you so much for playing the game.

yeah, I wanted to do it like Minecraft but I ended up using all my time playtesting and tweaking hard mode to make it just beatable. Thank you for playing though.

Usually, with game jam games it's best to use simple graphics if you are low on time. The most important part in my opinion is gameplay. always start by making the character fun to move around. Keep learning though and have fun.

I'm not entirely sure if all the people I just killed were enemies or pedestrians because they did not fight back. Either way, launching myself into the air off of the sides of the platforms was fun.

I love it. This is top-tier gameplay. This mechanic is so cool. It's like playing chess with an alien that has never played chess before.

I bet you can't beat hard mode but let me know if you do. Tip move Diagonally as much as possible. I've only beat it once. Definitely Not Alone by Berserkagerk (itch.io)

There's no way you will beat hard mode but let me know if you do. Definitely Not Alone by Berserkagerk (itch.io)

Quick tip for hard mode. Move diagonally as much as possible.

I also increased the player's speed and slowed down the rate that the fire goes out and the windows opened. I can't remember but I think I also made the windows shut slightly faster too. I tweaked the settings little by little until I was just barely able to beat it. The trick is to move diagonally as much as you can. I don't know what I was thinking when I made hard mode.

I would buy this in a heartbeat. This is the coolest game I have played yet!!! I need more levels before I start having withdrawals. I love how you have to put the light in danger in order to kill the enemy. This concept is worthy of an entire game including two sequels and a prequel packed with lore.
