Yoo, I thought it was a generic platformer but then the chest opened in a really cool way and the tutorial was super cool! The animation work is splendid and the particle effects are really nice, I'm a sucker for cool effects!! One thing I noticed is that if you press Menu then all your progress goes away, but honestly, that's probably on me lmao I don't know why I did not expect that. Besides, I did not mind playing it over again anyways.
Interesting concept and fun!
The tutorial is great!
Love this!
I think this is a pretty cool take on the theme. It reminds me of Mario Maker and I love it.
This was absolutely incredible, best game I played so far.
Really loved the gameplay, both it and the presentation felt very polished, and the gameplay was intuitive and easy to understand, but I would have really liked to see a speed-up button during the actual tower defense rounds, since now things could get a bit slow from time to time.
I really liked the theme of the game as well, great job!
Wow, thank you!
A speed up option is a great idea! :D
Fun game, basically a tower defender in a dungeon setting. Really nice graphics and animations, looks clean. I didn't figure out how the arrows worked though, which was a bit frustrating. I would have liked an option to skip the tutorial after the first few times.
Thanks alot!
And good feedback too! I was considering making the introduction and tutorial skippable, but ran out of time since it wasn't my highest priority.
The arrow dispenser probably needs a rework, it can almost only be placed on the far back wall, and was mostly meant for shooting down wizards, but I think it ended up being too week in generel.
I think the game looks very polished. I tried to play for a bit but I was always getting round 1 and I could upgrade everything. It seems that if you go back to main menu the round numbers do not increase.
Overall I think is an interesting idea. I really liked the tutorial. How did you have time to make all of those nice animations and transitions in just 2 days?
Not sure what you mean about always getting round 1, but glad you liked the parts that did work :D
The chest transition is 4 line renderes expanding in size, which made it quite fast to create.
I did the simple animations for the characters and traps in Unity, and it's almost exclusively just rotating stuff over time.
The movement of the characters was done with through scripts and made use of rigidbodies to handle gravity and velocities :D
Clean and fits the theme. Nice job!
Thank you:)
Very cool game that fits the theme pretty well! I have never seen a game like that!
Thanks!
I really like the game, looks amazing but the idea isn't very fitting to the theme as these types of games already exist. Still very fun and an amazing game. Would appreciate if you rate mine as well. FairGame Arcade.
Just because similar games exist doesn't mean it does not fit the theme ;D
Thanks for playing:)
so many tutorials =) I didn't even have time to write the control in mine
