It's a great game, however, before I could face the boss, the plant selection UI started scaling up and ended up covering all the screen...

It is a cool game but the enemies just are way too slow and you get bored before the battle starts. Also the combat isn't very interesting, maybe, as TomatoSaladGang suggested choosing between different attacks. If you don't mind of changing completely the combat sistem you could make the player to move around, and you have to decide when to block or dodge or when to attack, etc. Right now you only decide about what the player will fight, and where to use the stat points.
The UI, the music and the art is good, but you should improve the combat system.
Sorry if I have been too harsh, it is still a good game.
I really like this game, but I think that there is too many camera shake, it becomes annoying. And I ran out of time when I had collected only 7 high fives (I'm bad at platformer games). When I realized that there was a time counter I only had 3 minutes, xd. I replayed it and it's still too little time.
Putting the little time aside, it is a great game! Congratulations to you and your team :)
It is a good game. The music fits very well. I like the simple graphics, I think it would nice if you made the player squashes when it's moving fast. The fast enemies I think that they are too fast, it's pretty difficult to predict if you will collide. Also the UI to replay could be better. You can also make the combo text to fade out smoothly instead of just disappearing.
Even if it has things that can be done better, it is still a great game.
The first time I played I didn't see the timer stopping but I played again and it does stop, sorry for confusing you. Maybe you should pause timer a little bit longer? You could also start it when the player starts moving, so that you can see where you are.
Now that I played again I like it more than before, it's more engaging than I thought at first time! Thanks for making this amazing game!
Ok, thaks for the clarification. It happend 2 times when I changed from the human to the drone, that's why I had thought that it was a bug. Maybe to make it clear you should put an out of ammo sound? It would be nice if you put also some healing particles when the drone gets healed with the tools. I think it would fit well if the zombies can't hit the drone and put batteries to recharge it's power. You could make that it moves faster when it has full battery and slower when has only a little.
You could also make the out of ammo weapons disappear because when you have 5 or 6 where the player is it's very difficult to pick up one with bullets. Maybe just make that you pick first the weapons with ammo?
When you have been playing for a little if you try to pick up something with the drone, it doesn't pick up anything and the human does, maybe a bug?
Sorry if I have been too harsh in the previous comment
The game is fun, but not very engaging, You should do something to make the players keep playing a little longer. Also, I think that the time bar should stop when you change map, because you don't know very well where the player starts or where to go and you loose some time: I lost the game two times when the map changed. You could also put particles to improve the game feel. You could also change the controls for computer, put a and d to move and the space bar to jump.
The idea is good, but I think you should make easier to find the packages and I don't really know what the tools that you find on the map are for. You could make indicators of where the collectables are (like arrows or little animations on the minimap). You could also put a pop-up when you find for first time something that says you what does it do. When you change from the player to the drone and viceversa, if the player had a weapon, it doesn't fire anymore, could you fix that?
I'm Spanish, sorry for my bad english.
