oops, I ran out of time to rate this but it is insanely good! This seriously doesn’t feel like a game jam game

Cool to see how different your game is to mine even though we had similar ideas. I really enjoyed this, well done!

Thanks! I intended on adding a singleplayer control mode where you control one character at a time, but I unfortunately ran out of time to add it

Thanks, I appreciate it :)

Yeah that seems to be the most common complaint, I might fix that as a post-jam update. Thanks btw, it was a fun challenge to a game jam with a new engine, and I actually really enjoyed using Godot

Thanks :)

Thank you!

I love it when games have a clear backstory/theme like this, it makes them so much better. Great job!

Thank you, this means a lot! The two main things I was aiming for with this game were a simple but effective art style and well designed puzzles (while I admittedly didn’t spend as long as I was intending on the puzzles), so it’s great to hear that thought this!

The quality of this game is insane! The gameplay itself is quite simple but the execution makes this feel like a game made by a big team - it’s really impressive that this was made solo!

My god this was super addicting lmao It was also cool that you can sink the planets into the holes, naturally making it harder as you go. Great job!

I really enjoyed this! Unless I missed something, it would’ve been good for there to be a ‘drop’ button so you didn’t always have to throw the blocks, but regardless, you did a great job!

Cool concept! It would definitely be more enjoyable if you could just restart a level instead of the whole game, but it’s still pretty fun overall!

Thanks, glad you liked it :)

I love this game! The concept is great, the art style is great, even the little touch of the music growing with the levels is really impressive and adds a lot to the game. The UI being controlled interactively is such a great touch too! Well done!

Thank you!

Pretty fun! Once I got the hang of it, it was fun to try to beat my highscore

Easiest 5 stars for creativity! This was such a cool interpretation of the idea and pretty good execution for the time constraint. The platformer section can be a bit frustrating however due to the character controller and lack of checkpoints, but overall, good job! (btw I found the key immediately lol)

No complaints at all, this was super fun! Great job!

This is super good for a solo game! This mechanic definitely has potential to be made into a full game and I love that you gave a creative story behind why the character grows/shrinks - it adds so much personality. Other than the difficulty of some levels, I really enjoyed this, good job :)

Takes a little while to get a hang of it but I like it! It reminds me of beltmatic

Definitely a super unique game with great art! The gameplay is simple but it works well with the theme of the game

I love this art style!

This is so professional for a game jam! The concept is so funny, good job :)

Wow, I love the style of this game!

I really enjoyed these levels! One thing I would recommend is putting your controls either in your game directly or on your itch page (which you can still do now), because it took me a while to figure them out. Also just some general advice for game jams in case you didn’t know - if you make a WebGL build so people can play it in the browser you will get like 10x the amount of people playing it

Haha thanks, glad you liked it! :)

Interesting, I didn’t have any problems with switching sizes (in the final build). The only thing that is a little weird is that you can’t switch if the big guy is standing on the small guy, or at all while in the air (although this was intentional). Glad you enjoyed it though!

Thanks! I was originally intending on adding an optional singleplayer ‘character switch’ feature so you could control one character at once using either WASD or the arrow keys (and I even got like 70% of the way there) but unfortunately I didn’t have time to finish that. Good to hear that you liked it despite these issues!

Cool to hear that someone played this as a multiplayer game! Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!

Oh haha, I didn’t even know about that - I didn’t have much time to test the later levels. Great to hear that you enjoyed the puzzles!

Thanks, this was a style that I haven’t really gone for before so I’m happy with how it turned out! Also yeah, so much of my time was eaten up by fixing physics issues so unfortunately I didn’t have time to fix everything. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I haven’t played Ibb and Obb but I definitely see the resemblance

Thanks, this means a lot! :)

Yeah, unfortunately I didn’t have time to fix all of the many physics issues I was having. Glad you still liked it though!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Thanks! It’s definitely a pretty simple game but I’m happy with how its style turned out

Yeah, and mine was meant to be even closer to yours! I originally planned to have a similar ‘state machine’ but I ended up scrapping it for a couple reasons. Also some small things like the actual trail for the hero in your game instead of ‘stepping stones’. Thanks for the tip, I didn’t think of doing that but I did notice that the paths were a little inconsistent although at that point, I’d spent hours setting it up and just wanted to move on lol. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Ah yeah, I feel your pain with the audio, there’s always things I forget to do in jams that would have only taken a few seconds/minutes Also I did notice those last things you mentioned too, but for 48 hours its already crazy how much you got done! btw, I haven’t asked anyone else to play my game but since it’s very similar to yours, you might enjoy it :)

Super cool idea and nice audio, it’s almost a typing speed test though with how quick the timer is lol
