A drop button would of been nice.  But it dose seem to work a puzzle game so good job!!

Played Live here!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! There actually is a drop button! It looks like you missed a couple of prompts on stuff because of the volume, there's a voice over that explains a few things.

For some reason I could not run this game on my PC. It says I need to install Microsoft Visual ++ Runtime, but the message does not go away even after it has been installed

Developer

Weird. I think that's probably something to do with Unreal Engine. Thanks for letting me know, I'll see if there's someway I can work around that in the future!

Nice game,  good visual! 3D models were nice. Those indicators for expanding across a dimension were very helpful and much needed in such a game as one could at a glance check the dimensions that they are going to affect without checking which gun they were holding. In the 2nd level, one UI element related to scroll to change gun or something did not go away. In the 3rd it was fine.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I noticed very early on in play testing that it was impossible to try to figure out where it was going to expand without some indicators. And I have noticed that, it seems to stick around for like 40% of people so I have no idea what's causing it.

I really enjoyed this! Unless I missed something, it would’ve been good for there to be a ‘drop’ button so you didn’t always have to throw the blocks, but regardless, you did a great job!

Developer(+1)

If you just press the F key it drops them without throwing them. I thought I included something saying that when you picked up the boxes but I may have forgotten it lol

Thanks for the feedback!

I genuinely loved playing this game. Controls and puzzles are well thought out and it is very easy to pick up. Seems like there intended ways to solve the puzzles as well as unorthodox ways to complete them. I appreciate that everything was made by the dev within the jam itself. Fantastic little game

Fun concept! I found it easy and intuitive to resize and place things where I wanted, which is a great plus as I could focus on solving the puzzle instead of dealing with the controls and the physics.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! I put a lot of work into refining the block controls.

I liked the voice over and after a bit of time I got the puzzles solved! Nice game. S/o to the hamburger lol

Submitted(+1)

The voiceover are really nice, i'm not entierely sure about how the puzzles were intended to be solved but it was quite nice! keep going!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I really like physics puzzles and immersive sims.... So I kinda built it to just be solved anyway that you think works. If you make it to the end goal then the puzzle was solved correctly.

I'm so confused by this design (not in a bad way) but like what's going on here ahah. apart from that the game was fun and clean visualy so good job :D

Developer(+1)

Oops! Sorry it confused you! I think I got stuck in a feedback loop with myself on some of the puzzles where I'd play through it and knew the best ways to solve and was like "that was too easy!" It could use some easing in to puzzles.

Thanks for the feedback!

Great game. I love the voiceover. Unfurtunetly, physic system isn't so great, but it is still a lot of fun.

Developer(+1)

I've watched several people play it at this point and I've noticed that sometimes the physics just aren't right on some people's computers, so that definitely needs some work to get consistent.

Thanks for the feedback!

Enjoyed the voiceover and general vibes of this one - I think we had a similarish idea! Interesting puzzles but couldn't quite reach the end - couldn't figure out how to get a block into the chamber with the revolving door and the two switches, maybe I'll try again later. Would have loved to have had a bit more control of the character's direction when in the air to make traversing the blocks a little easier, and would have been nice to be able to rotate the blocks as desired before dropping them. Definitely worth a play though - well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yea, watching people play I realized rotating in air may have been nice but I couldn't get around to it. If this makes it into a full release I'll definitely make the controls a little more precise.

I really like that puzzle but I think I throw you into the deep end pretty quickly with that one. If I may give you a hint there: is there a way you could press both buttons but only use 1 block?

Submitted(+1)

Ooooooooooh yep I see now haha! Definitely got to go back and play again later to finish that now I know

Nice assets and lighting. I liked how you end each level by shrinking down to enter the next level. The main mechanic is very unique, if a bit rough. Was difficult placing blocks occasionally due to them being offset from center when held. Really liked the translucent direction indicators. Very cool!

heh, x-ray

I love the narration and the idea of the game! It fits the theme really well

Submitted(+2)

Good, I also had a similar idea but it is the character that changes scale. I really like the OST and the fact that it is narrated.
