I see why you compared your game to mine, the concept is very similar (aside from your boxes and my state machiene) :)

(Tipp: Try to slightly modify the weights on all tiles so the a* algorithm is consistent ;))
Yeah, and mine was meant to be even closer to yours! I originally planned to have a similar ‘state machine’ but I ended up scrapping it for a couple reasons. Also some small things like the actual trail for the hero in your game instead of ‘stepping stones’. Thanks for the tip, I didn’t think of doing that but I did notice that the paths were a little inconsistent although at that point, I’d spent hours setting it up and just wanted to move on lol. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Pretty hard game managed to solve 7 levels ran out of brain juice in level 8 lol. Fun and simple puzzle game, great job!

What a clever turn-based puzzle concept! Seems deceptively simple at first but becomes a good brain teaser once multiple enemies/hit points are introduced. Really enjoyed it! Great job :)

This game was awesome :D The music and visuals make it very chill to just fiddle around and try to solve the puzzles. The last one took me quite a long while, however I got it on my own! (kinda). Also, you nailed the theme. Love this game!

Also, something funny I noticed as the developer watching you try to beat the last level is that you almost immediately solved it in the intended way with 1 small move missing, then you got steered away from the intended solution by chat, and then you found the 1 move you needed to beat the level in the intended way, but used it to beat it in an unintended way instead lol
Some of these puzzle are really hard but you feel clever to overcome

The Game is really well done and looks good. Some levels took me a good minute to figure out but it was really fun.
This is a well polished game. Everything about this is well executed and fun to play. I'm stuck on level 7 currently, but that's more because I'm not great at puzzles
