Thanks for playing and sharing! You should post your best time on my Facebook post!

yes, after the scanners you have to jump back and forth to get up the shelf's. Then later you have to push shelf's over.

I've been trying to determine if the puzzles are too hard and if more clues are needed. Maybe I could do a subtle clue via an arrow that indicates to navigate up?

After Brackeys Game Jam 2022.1 voting period ends we will be releasing updates to the game and we will look into releasing a mac version.

Love this game want to keep playing but you need checkpoints.
Also I was able to glitch through the map and one of the times the monsters did not go away when I hid.

Also it is soooo hard to get past the long light bar because I cannot tell which side the gap is on.

With all that being said, I want you to keep making games this was fun! You could do a whole story and everything here!

Found same glitch as @suffering.sappho and for me, the music only played in certain rooms. Not sure if that was on purpose. Honestly had to look at your notes of what to do because the game was not intuitive enough. I almost did not make it to the end because even though I kept clicking it did not always walk me foward.

That being said I would love to see what you could do with it if you polished it more.

I agree with @gwenckatz that there wasn't anything preventing me from clicking around. Maybe you could have it so that only when the rotation of the room allowed light to reveal that the object was fake that is when you could click on it? I also did not feel like a character was really needed as your character was more of the light hanging down. All in all though your team did a good job!

Great start to a game! Here are my suggestions.
Use different loops especially for the longer levels.
Fix the bug where the poop rolls.
Fix the bug where sometimes when someone is hit they stand back up.
Do not allow the player to fly out of bounds.
Not sure if it was a glitch or my horrible eyes but I could never find human 10 on level 3.
Make listening to humans an objective.

And ultimately keep working on this because it is great!

This was fun! keep going with this!

Great start to a solid game, suggestions are to make it so when you hit water you reset. Also I should not be able to force the camera below the terrain.

I had fun, would have loved to heard sound. I think you could keep going with this and turn it into a game with a story.

I would love to see more forms and the forms transfer into the activity mode and more activity mini-games.
Overall you have a great start to a solid game!

I think this is pretty cute graphics which I do like. Reminds me of Zelda.
I think you should keep working on this, reduce the lag and add sound!

This is awesome! keep up the great work, I wish I had finished my first game at such a young age!

Loved the look of this game, which it was longer but also wish the fighting was easier. Maybe make it easier to hit them without being hit and add in sounds for punches and taking damage.

Note: I was able to get to the very end of the game with full health without switching to the spirit world by just running and jumping repeatedly.

Very nice! Love the graphics and had fun playing!

I had fun with this, I loved the graphics! You did a great job, would love to seen more animations like with the swing of the sword and what not.

I loved the audio, and the weirdness of the world and story. It felt like the textures and world at first were low poly so it was odd for the hands and objects to be so high quality would have love to seen the assets all blend together more.

Also noticed a few glitches such as shadow glitches and lighting glitches but overall enjoyed the game!

(1 edit)

I love the look of this game and I think you nailed the theme. I found the gameplay very hard to the point where it became not fun. I think some improvements could be on the controls and maybe changing the order of how difficult things get.

There were sometimes indicators where needed to help assist the player on what to do and some other times the indicators were confusing.

I really like the idea of the trampoline books but the physics of the way they worked didn't feel right.

I loved this game, reminded me on Sonic!

I think that there could be a few more indicators to make sure the player knows that when the level starts over again that they have been upgraded and there are more coins out there to find.

I like the idea of being upgraded, would like to see maybe if the visually the character could start changing. Overall, with the amount of time we all had this is pretty great, I think you should polish it up into a full game!

This game is super awesome. You did amazing with the audio, it is so great you did all the music yourself!

I would add a warning at the start about the light movement and maybe even some graphic controls to reduce the strobing effects. I did start to feel a little queasy but I did enjoy the game!

Adding an HP bar and maybe making it so the red dots add HP if you left them absorb them could help the gameplay.

I loved this game! All around awesome job! I would love to see you polish this up more into a full game!

I really liked the graphics, reminds me of animal crossing and the audio was really good. However, I feel like it did not matter how accurate I was with the drawings. Maybe have a better indicator or maybe even if it is so bad have the creation fail?

Audio was really low
