Totally understandable, I see how that could be confusing. Thank you for the feedback!

Totally fair point, a directional indicator is something I'd like to add. Thanks for playing!

Sorry the controls didn't work well for you, but thank you!

Ragdoll indeed awesome :D

Glad you enjoyed and got a laugh out of it!

Haha thanks, glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for playing!

Great aesthetic with this game! The style is nice and the level transitions are really cool. The platforming generally felt nice though most of the puzzles seemed to be skippable by jumping repeatedly while pulling a block or ball towards you. The scaling worked pretty intuitively as well, nicely done!

Sorry the controls were too challenging to complete the game but I'm glad you enjoyed what you played! I had planned to add an alternate control scheme if I had had more time in the jam but it didn't pan out, thanks for the feedback!

That's high praise, thank you! I'm glad the retro aesthetic came out nicely in the end as this is the first game jam game I've done where the art was primarily my own. Thanks for playing and collecting the achievements!

I'm really happy the comedic nature of the game connected with other people! The difficulty is definitely up there but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I have to admit the adventure mode was a bit too tough for me at times, probably just because juggling platforming with the combat got a little complicated, but the boss rush was a lot of fun! Great job on getting 3 unique bosses implemented with a pretty nice combat system and a great artstyle in the limited time of the jam!

Cool mechanic! I found myself trying to get some cool launches to beat the levels faster, definitely has potential to be a cool speedrun game with some more polished physics.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Adding more visual indicators is a good idea, and might help people who have trouble visualizing the results of the complex physics. Definitely something I'd consider adding in a future version!

Happy you were able to get the hang of it!

Thanks Tj! That was definitely part of the inspiration, yeah. Your game also had a super unique take on the theme as well!

Really unique take on a puzzle platformer! I love platformers with ability unlocks and doing it with an RPG skill system is a great approach.

While the solutions I took in some levels felt a bit unintentional, this was a lot of fun! I like how multiple different approaches to scaling the player were used, nicely done!

Definitely. Music and more sounds definitely would've been something I'd prioritized if I'd had more time. All of the sounds currently in the game I added in the last hour before submission. Thanks for playing!

This game was such a delight to play through! I usually get stuck on or bored of puzzle games after a while, even short ones, but Mixel Witch really held my attention all the way through. The artstyle perfectly compliments the mechanics which both feel really polished for a game jam game. Excellent job!

Really great result, especially given the limited time you had! I want to come back and finish this another day when I've had more sleep xD

I don't know if I fully understood the mechanics but it was pretty cool trying to balance what kinds of runes I was making! Got through 320 rounds on my best attempt

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! After consulting with David it seems he's relocated the mice to a farm in Nebraska

High praise, thanks!

Why do they call it Suika when you of in the cold fruit of out hot eat the fruit?

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the portal movement mechanics and your vote has been counted :)

Thank you! It was really tough but glad we got them working in some capacity :D

Yeah control options would be a great feature to add if we had more time, sorry about that, but thank you for the feedback!

Thanks so much! Sorry for betraying your trust, cake's expensive you know!

Thanks!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and sorry the controls weren't communicated more clearly!

Thank you!

Thanks, more levels and the active indicator are definitely good ideas and would've been nice to add with more time. Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! It really wasn't easy but I'm happy we got a somewhat working game out in the end, despite the difficulty of the second level and the quirks of the physics. More levels definitely would've been the first step if we had more time so I agree with you there. Thanks for the feedback and support!

Haha the tricks you can pull off with the spinning are probably my favorite part too, thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! Level 2 is a bit tricky yeah, my main recommendation is to try falling onto the box rather than having the box fall on to you (if that makes sense), good luck!

Thank you for the feedback, I had kind of hoped level 1 would serve as a tutorial but guess that didn't work out super well. Thank you for playing!

Thank you! Having alternative control options would've been ideal though unfortunately I didn't have time to add them. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks!
