This is super impressive for a 48 hour game jam! You guys really nailed the game feel of a "rage game" like Getting Over It, complete with voice acting. Mastering the controls felt like a real challenge and the level design is excellent at drawing out the most from the movement system!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!!

Wonderful game! The art, story, sound, and gameplay were all amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed going through the game. I teared up a bit at the end and the music in particular absolutely blew me away. There are some minor issues with the UI and I felt like certain bullet patterns with the flip mechanic were somewhat unfair, but those are tiny issues in a fantastic game!

I accessed the water faerie from the area to the bottom left of it. There's a slime and a sprout there, and I assume you're supposed to use the sprout to ascend that way. I used the brief window where the debris fell on the slime to jump through the laser barrier before it closed without the need for the sprout. Unsure if this was intentional, but I hope it helps!

The controls feel tight and the aesthetic gives off an awesome retro vibe. I only have a few nitpicks about the combat. I did feel a little restricted in my ability to defend myself, especially when there are multiple enemies. The enemies also felt extremely aggressive, like they were targeting me because of pure proximity rather than line of sight. I always felt like I was on the defensive rather than the offensive due to that. Other than that, I had a great time playing the game. Awesome work!

The art style and the environment of the game is nice, and the premise of the game is interesting. However, I was not really able to enjoy the game due to a lot of issues with the gameplay. The platforming and combat felt unresponsive, I never really felt like I was interacting with the world, more like glitching through it. The combat encounters were unbalanced. I am unsure if it is a glitch or not, but having eight enemies ambushing me constantly did not feel very fun. Overall, I think you guys have the basis for a really great game, and with more time and polish it could be amazing.

This game communicated its story in a beautiful and poignant manner. Slowly uncovering the whole story is an intriguing experience and I felt like I was able to empathize with the main character through the game. There was a visual bug where the girl was glitching about one tile ahead midway through the game, and some text UI issues. Overall, wonderful job combining the story with the mechanics of the game, it was an amazing experience.

This game has so much character, I love it! The art style, the OST, the characters, and the gameplay were all amazing. I think that the game could use a few checkpoints, and that there should be a more notable difference between the Q and E skills rather than Q being superior to E, but these are just nitpicks for an otherwise outstanding game. Nice puns, as well. Wonderful job!

I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the game, and navigating the game as a wedge of cheese was a novel and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere really made me feel like I was in danger of being consumed by rats at any time, great job! It is awkward interacting with the chest at the start, but that may just be the nature of being a piece of cheese. I am a little confused about the ordering of unlocking the rooms, it seemed like I was able to access the top level room before the second level, and the second level references the third level's hint. Other than that, this game is a very interesting experience and I was excited to uncover more of the story between doctor rats and sentient cheeses.

This game was very cute, loved the art and I was constantly vibing to the OST! It was a little bit confusing navigating at first, and I wasn't very sure about what my objective was until towards the end. I think the narrative really would have benefited more from having choices made by the player (like the pickup line) and having it affect the ending. The ending sequence's dialogue felt a little unnatural at times, but was overall quite heartwarming. I enjoyed controlling the gremlink as well, it's design and animations are so adorable. Great job guys!

Wonderful game! The artstyle is cute and world is vibrant and alive. The way the player traverses across the world by drawing platforms is extremely fun, if a bit clunky at times. The audio and ambience were superb and the little voicelines gave Sumi a nice bit of extra character. I do think, however, that the mechanics need to be better explained within the game itself, and it was difficult interacting with some of the mobs in order to progress. There is also a sort of exploit where falling debris from destroyed platforms would activate slimes for a moment, allowing access to some areas. I ended up being locked in the area where I assume you would have to have all three faeries and seals with no way back. Overall, it's a charming game and I had a lot of fun with mastering platforming and exploring the beautiful world.

I'm glad you liked it! I'm still a bit new to art, so the advice is very much appreciated. :)
